Hi.

Summer Tires
The tires that came with my car (Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring, All Season), are 8 years old. They still look good with 8/32 tread remaining.

Winter Tires
Same goes with my winter tires, (Toyo Observe GSi5), also 8 years old. Also still look good with 11/32 tread remaining.

Car is city driven, less than 10,000 km per year.
Can I still get a couple more years out of both sets of tires?

Thank you.

Usually what happens with tires over time is that the rubber dries out and becomes harder.
Especially not good with winter tires where you want the contact patch flexible.
TAking the tires to a reputable tire guy will give you an honest answer if you should
replace keep and for how long. I trust my tire guy. Ceotires in Scarborough : https://www.ceotire.com/
