Cosworth aluminum intake manifold (http://corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex. php3%3Fcat%3D293623)

I don\'t believe that the photo shown is the actual one for our vehicle.

WOW $700...:( Too rich for my blood. But what exactly will this do to my 2.3 engine? Is it worth it? or is it just for looks?

More air into the engine = more \"bang\" in the combustion chamber = more power

How much more? Is it worth $700? I was looking at the site, but it doesn\'t give any technical information about how much more performance you should get.

I just got a e-mail from cosworth about the cosworth intake ,and heres what they said
Mike,
Thanks for your interest in our Duratec products.
The manifold will fit the Mazda 3 however, your stock intake manifold is equipped with a tumble valve that we do not use
on our manifold. When this is eliminated, it will cause the check engine light to come on. Part of our ECU reprogramming is to
turn off the check engine light. Other that the check engine light, there should be no problems.

We hope to have many Mazda 3, MZR/Duratec products this year and we can notify you by email if you wish.

Thanks
Ken
