(laugh).... Yeah... there is a lot of that going around PERIOD.:( ... Unfortunately including with the Visa there are also mass emails going around. Also including fraud emails for Ebay.
My suggestion??? Any time that anyone calls you or emails you.... do not give out your information. Anything. Verify who you are speaking with/ Releasing information can lead to so many things that will practically ruin your life. Even Marketing people that call your house/ call back.... always....!!!!!!! No joke...
could start many things.... Id FRAUD for one... and that will mess up your life!!!!!!
so please please please PLEASE.... be very careful.... :P

I always feel quite strange, why people still keep answering the \"Banking\" email, not only old ppl, but some young professional. If you understand bank (I don\'t work at bank), they never send you email at any time. I recieved several email from those \"banks\":p , I always want to enter some \"special\" wording if you know what I mean:D , look how would those guys will response.

Hey guys,
Have you ever had a guy phone you, requesting alot of information, and saying that he\'ll open up a bank account for you? Now I know you guys get these all the time, but what\'s weird is that this guy actually knows my address and a few names of family members! At no point in time have my family given out this kind of information, which leads us to believe some company is selling our information. Very frightening indeed!

what I would suggest, is whomever you have dealings with at your financial institution... go into a branch and request that you do not want marketers calling you nor do you want to be solicitated/ I know at TD there is a code that we can put in to stop that.
And you\'re rigt... God knows why some of these people reply. I know of the current Ebay scams goin on, guiding them to a site where they have to confirm they\'re account number and password along with their visa number and expiration date..... OYE... and some people have done this.!!!!!!!
