im thinking of getting the Work Emotion CR rims it that gun metal colour. 17x7 with a 47mm offset. i dont want the rims to stick out of the fenders, personally i think it looks like ass. I just wanna know if ill have goo clearance. i dont know much about rims and offsets, so people with knowledge please reply/
thanks
17x7 with a +47mm offset should be a perfect fit.
7.5\" wide rims with a 48-50mm offset do not stick out, so 7\" with 47 should be more than fine.
Nice choice in rims btw!

i like how they look, their not too heavy, i think they\'d look allright on a black mica hatch. i need to read up about this company as ive never heard of them before.
Work makes great wheels. They\'re made in Japan and used by many Japanese race teams. Gotta love JDM wheels.

all i can find is 30000 yen. wtf is that in canadian dollars, i cant find the price of these rims anywher
try www.xe.com for the currency conversion
also www.finalstageauto.com sells them, but they\'re somewhat overpriced (you should be able to get a better deal from the guys at Tires23)
I can\'t wait to see your car and all the mods at one of the meets!

I just hope everyone is friendly and not like \" who the **** are you, get out of here\"..
A few people have a few problems here (I won\'t mention any names), but the majority are friendly. :)

no worry about to have mod car to attend the meet, actually from last meet about 50+ cars showed up, only a few one had mod (if you don\'t count winter tires/wheels and stubby as mod), some have huge subwoofers, some have HIDs, some others have tv/ps2/xbox installed, they only accounted about 10-15% of the cars.
we are friendly ppl, at least we try to be friendly, some talk alot, some are quiet like me, we try to gather more information about cars/mods stuffs. so feel free to join our meet.

Guess. ;)
Just look out for the lowered titanium grey Sport with HIDs, LED Taillights and 18\" gunmetal rims with a polished lip. That\'d be me.

We have couple sets of WORK emotion on ordered.
Give us a call, we might able to help you out.
like Autoexe\'ve said, 17x7 with +47 is perfectly fine.
Compare to stock wheels, the clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 1mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 11mm
Some people would run +42mm to make the wheel sit flush with the fender...thus real AGRESSIVE looking.
Thanks
Martin

Hey autoexe how is ur new apexi toy goin? .... and how much was it? .. nice meeting u by the way
I\'m having trouble getting it to read the correct values from the ECU...it powers on now but it registers totally inaccurate readings regardless of how adjust the settings. I got more information from the service manual and will be bringing it back to Lockdown later this week - might take some rewiring to get it to work.
Nice meeting you too!

I know that 7.5\" wide rims with a 48-50mm offset do not stick out, but apparently it would bring the wheel about 10-11mm closer to the inner strut. Does anyone know how much inner wheel clearance we have to work with on our car, until rubbing\'s a posibility? Do the front or rear wheels have more inner clearance?
Thanks.
