security indicator

Hi All,

I\'ve noticed that the security indicator (car with a key in the middle) flashes when I press the lock button twice. I have a GT/Auto/GFX.

It actually blinks every second or two. Is this normal? I noticed it yesterday while taking out the garbage. Seems to be a warning that the alarm system is armed.

i think it always does it when the car is off
im not 100% sure tho

Yes, it is normal. It is indicating that the alarm/immobilizer is active.
