Just want to post a thumbs up to Tire 3000. He just saved me $60.00 off of tire23 price for my Kuhmo ASX. Add they can get them in 3 days as opposed to 1 week!

hey guys the best way to get your quotes is to just call in. it\'s been very busy at the shop because of the winter season and at times it\'s just impossible to answer all calls because we\'re constantly working on car after car after car. I apologize, but just keep trying to call in and someone will help you with your questions.
i\'m sorry i can\'t give u quotes right now because i don\'t have any pricing booklets at home. if anything just try calling in again, thanks.

That\'s the same price quoted by Wheels Direct, but their services SUCKS.

I am going to Tire 23 next week to get mine 3 fitted with Vikings...I was going to go today, but they called me to let me know that they are out of the hubcentric steelies, and gave me the options to either install a non hub centric ones or wait. I think this is a very considerate gesture from Tire 23, and it\'s appreciated.

Economics 101...must I talk about this every year? Supply & Demand model. You chose to buy winter tires right when it starts snowing. Had you bought them a month ago, you wouldn\'t have to deal with this. :sarc

hey guys, i hear alot of negative feedback about tire3000 and their customer service. i only work there once a week part time..., and i understand customer service is very important. and i\'m sorry for the ones who can\'t get through the telephone as well.
but please understand from my experience working at this tireshop last season, when the first snow fall hits, the shop is crazy. i can\'t stress enough of how busy we are. when i get to work i start at 8am in the morning and work till 4pm straight on the cars with no break or no food. it\'s literally death! the phone rings at the shop, most of the times but most often we are already preocuppied working on a customer\'s car because of pre-booked appointments. everything here is go-go-go because of the season. and it will probably be like that for other places as well but probably not as bad as ours. again sorry for those who got offended but please try to understand our situation.

thx guys

Hey Astatik, we are not attacking you personally, but the shop. I can imagine that all the tire shops are crazy after the first snow fall, but just look at the many post about Tire 23, they are busy too, but they have a voice mail box set up, and they return calls to people...

What it impressed me the most is that they even call to make sure the potential clients know what they are getting and allow the clients the option to choose. In my case, they let me know that they were out of hub-centric rims, and offered alternative and option to wait. They can very well not say a thing and tell me after I get there (some 20KM away, I think), but they didn\'t. I wasn\'t going to go all that far to get my tires, but they EARNED my business. Sure there are other shos around my area, but like Tire 3000, which I can\'t get through over the phone, and Wheels Direct, which has SUCKY service attitude, but if anyone want my business, they better step up to the plate and put the service where counts...with customers, potential or not.

I know you only work there, but please do pass on the message to your boss so that maybe one day they can earn my business too, if they can step up to the plate and change the way they treat potential clients.
:)

Marketing 101. The Supply and Demand model doesn\'t mean people have to put up with shiity service at times of inadequate supply.

A: the context is lost
Q: why top posting sucks?

as for the \'sales\' experience.. it\'s 2005BLKMAZDA3\'s word against T3000 and guess what T3000 is too busy or not even aware of tm3.com

1) when i called them BACK in sept/oct \'04 for a tire/rim combo, their price was way off when compared to espec.. oh they actually had the time to talk to me .. oh wait that was all b4 the snow fell.. :sarc
2) irate customer will always embelish his/her story when he/she knows the other side will not respond to defend themselves
3) if that customer is dumb enough to wait till the last minute, he/she deserves to pay more as per supply/demand 101
4) id you expect T3000 to drop their price? if they can get a clintelle that is willing to pay a premium, then they would be losing money (or not making as much) of each sale..

come on.. this happens in every day life.. whether it\'s just tires or a whole effin car.. if people want to get gauged and get shitty service they usually go to mornigside/markham.scarborough mazda.. if you want a good experience and a lower price talk to avante/mot/dwm/westowne.. and if you can\'t take your time to do some research then don\'t bitch about the prices/stock/customer service.. they are people too and get stressed out when they work a full day w.o breaks..

just my 2cents..

S&D is one thing, but for any business that is smart, it should have the right people who can deal with the stress and be able to handle customers like they are the only one they have, and that the business depended on them.

Too bad that there is no rating system like some other service industries, otherwise we all are able to save our time and effort to get a better service/price than we are getting now!

Well enough rant about service...I am done writing about it too. :zzz

Majic,

I totally understand what you are saying. I have to mention that I am not inflating the story at all. You give them a call and ask for a quote for the same tires I want and then mention to them that you saw a post on here that is lower and watch what they say to you!! It should not matter when I chose to buy the tires for my car, CUTOMER SERVICE IS TOP PRIORITY!! If you have any common sense, you would know this! If you were to look, you would see that the guy from Tire 3000 started this post! Just because they are busy is no reason to give a comment like that.

I know a guy from T3000 started this thread.. but if you read closely he\'s there once a week (part time) so he has almost NO leverage on how they do business.. and if THEY do busioness the way they are now and they are making a profit then all is well for them. don\'t get me wrong.. i\'m all about customer service too..

Rule#1: customer is always right
Rule#2: if customer is wrong, refer to Rule#1

anyway.. in the end YOU choose where YOU will buy from and if this means T3000 losing your business and others, then so be it.. others will go there out of necessity/last resort..

cheers,

ps. i\'m on DayQuill now :)

You probably caught them on a bad day. Look at it from their prospective, right now everyone who didn\'t get snows earlier like they should have is looking for the \"best deal\" in town.

They\'ve been getting tons of calls since the first real snowfall. To top it all off they have a lot of people just phoning around for pricing and wasting their time. Speaking from experience on both sides of the business tire distributors can only carry so many tires at their warehouses and as soon as the snow hits it\'s goodbye to your stock.

So if you\'re not happy with their service just move on to the next place that wants your business.

you know what, it should not matter what time of the day/year it is....with them being a small business, they should be helpful to everyone, it could have resulted in a sale for them, which means more money! If they are understaffed, then hre more people!

I think the point that Flipspeed is making is that they\'re gonna sell their entire stock of tires, regardless of whether they get your business or not. From their standpoint, why would they sell a valuable commodity like winter tires at a price below what they could charge to some joe schmoe off the street? I\'m not saying I agree with that practice or the service they gave you, but it is a harsh reality considering the first snowfall has already come.

If they\'re not gonna try and earn your business I would go elsewhere and forget about it.

Is this your first time buying something like winter tires? If so, I understand that you are experiencing this for the first time. But like others have said, it is a harsh reality of life. Why would they sell it to you for a cheap price? They could easily sell those tires to a guy who is a good customer 365 days a year. All tire shops have limited stock of winter tires and if you think you are going to get winter tires for \"cheap\" now, you are dreaming.

Check with Tires23 and its time to stop complaining and put some of the blame on yourself for bargaining now for a cheap price on winter tires at this time of the year.:sarc

Yes this is the first time buying winter tires, but apparantly you have trouble understanding why I am not happy with them. If you read what I wrote, you would see that it is the SERVICE I am not happy with not the price. I understand that pricing has increased due to supply and demand, but what I did not like was what he said and the tone he used. I simply asked if he could match or beat the price he quoted another member. If he is not able to do better all he has to do is say no, not \"If you want, then buy, if not bye\" then he hung up right away..

I, for one, sure do appreciate the post by 2005BLKMAZDA3. I thought that one of the purpose of the board is to share experience about dealer service. Granted that some are good and some are bad experience but if all I hear is positive experience then it is very misleading. Similarly for negative experience.

maybe you just never were hugged as a child and seek acceptance in this forum.. aaah.. now i understand your posts... :D

and about wheels direct - that\'s b/c they are known for shoddy service.. oh i see you have no point.. goodbye.. :sarc

majic, open up, :hoho , i got something for that big mouth of yours......attack on them, so I guess you would have considered the first post about wheels direct and there shitty service crap as well....

maybe it is you who was not hugged enough as a child and require the approval and acceptance in this forum since you have nothing better to do then tear apart threads....:hoho
