New to the mazda 3 but not new to the forums.
Well sorta, used these forums to do my researched when looking to purchase my mazda. I picked up a 2004 gt hatch, mica black, leather, moon roof, fogs. Had all the bells and whistle minus the tint which I later installed. 20% rear and corners, 32% on the fronts. :headbang Paid $9700 out the door and on the road with 54 000km's on it. Was buddies summer car, why so cheap you might ask. Car was in a side impact and both driver side doors have been replaced but no structual damage so I was happy. :winner I've modded a few things hear and there and have alot more planned for the spring. Grabbed a o.e.m. mazda roof rack not to long ago which looks absolutly amazing, plan on picking up a thule fairing for it soon aswell. Blacked out the emblems, plan on doing the batman mod some time this week.
Very happy with the car I must say, I have a few friends with them and have heard good things. I was always a honda boy (give me a break, I started when I was 17 and I'm not 24) so the mazda was a much needed step up. Needed some reliable, good on gas, decent on insurance and would make me proud to drive again. My civic had it's good days and bad but sadly realised with all the modifications I'd never see the money again so I cut my loses and opt out for newer car. I was considering maybe trading up next year for the MS3 next year when a few tickets drop off my license which is why I'm doing light mods for now until I'm absolutly sure.
Well I wont ramble anymore seeing that you all have the same view on this car...lol. Just wanted to express my new found love for mazda's in general. :blush

Re: New to the mazda 3 but not new to the forums.
I've seen a few threads towards sedans vs. hatches...lol. I don't think one is better then the other, I have just found hatches more appealing. I see alot more females drive the sedans but I'm not insulting any of you guys cruising in the sedans. Now if the mazda3 cam in a coupe I may have went that way but with the rx-8 I can understand why they didn't introduce it.

Thank you guys for welcoming me to the site, much appreciated. I have a question for you guys. Is there any reason I can't post in the classifieds? Do I need to donate or something?
Re: New to the mazda 3 but not new to the forums.
Welcommmmeeee, and congrats. You can post in the classifieds after 50 posts.
PS Sedans are WAY sexier than hatches hahahahhahah, sorry for your choice :chuckle :gone (kiddinggggg :P they're both nice)

One of the first female hatchs drivers I've seen. I usually pull up to the sedans and just expect to see a chick driving it. (no offence to the dudes) lol. Congrats on your purchase, I like the white but the black just appealed to me more.
