I'm new here (new to cars in general, lol) and I'm just getting a new 2010 GS next week. What would you recommend for the tint? Right now I've told Jason @ Oakville Mazda I would like 35% (I think that's the legal limit in front) all around, but the car isn't in yet so I could switch it up.
AFAIK the most popular tint is 23% all around. I just had my black Speed3 done at Audio Heaven with 23% all around and I love it. My wife's car has 35% all around and I think it's a bit light.. almost like it's not tinted at all depending on the angle and ambient light.
It all depends what you like..i know i like my windows dark.
Since my mazda was all ready tinted from the dealer when i bought i didn't have much chioce..right now the back doors and read window is 15% and i changed my drivers side and passenger side doors to 20% from it's 35%.
On all my other cars/trucks i tinted my windows at 20% drivers side and passenger side doors and 5% the rest of the windows.
So if you like dark windows 35% is not the way to go IMO

+3 for Audio Heaven 23% all the way around.
do you like the whole uniform look with tints being the same all around..or do u care to do lighter up front and darker in the back? i personally have the same percentages as malfunktion and it looks very nice. with dealer tinting and who they go with to do them..the percentage may not be very close together (35, 20, x, x..).
