What to pay for 2010 mazda 3 GT /w luxury pkg + interior lighting? (auto)
yah as my title says im planning to purchase 2010 mazda 3 GT /w luxury pkg and interior lighting somewhere around august.
so to the point:
MSRP: 26,385
interior lighting kit: 332.95
Freight & PDI: 1,395
Taxes & Fees: 3,561.20
Total: 31,674.15
what would be a good deal for this? also, im going to be purchasing in cash so if anyone has any idea about when the cash rebate would be, please help me out :)

Talk to Jeff (aka TheBiz) at Mazda of Toronto, and he will set you up. I just purchased an M3 Sport from him and it was a great experience, and great pricing too. There was a cash incentive going on up to May 31, but ask him if this is still on.

+1. According to this thread, cash rebate right now is $2000 so you can minus that out of msrp. But once again, best to talk with OP of that thread and he'll definitely set you up with great pricing with no headache!!

Hope its an automatic and you aren't choosy about colours.. because if you are waiting until August to purchase this.. you are going to be very disappointed..
If you don't need it until then... then put down a depo, while the selection is still good (at least my inventory is still good) and dont pick it up until then.

Wouldn't the 2011 model be out by then Jeff? Or will they stop making 2010's and wait until inventories clear out?

The build for the 2010 stops in about 2 weeks.. so everything that is being build is already known and there are already cars that simply do not exist in Canada.. GT sport in white, manual without Moonroof... not one in Canada.
So the 2011 is being built as of 2 weeks from now and will arrive late Aug or early Sept... but it wont have the crazy incentives on it like the 2010...

I wouldn't think they'd raise the price. I see Mazda including a lot more standard features as the new Ford Focus rolls in and I expect Ford to load this baby up from the low trim considering how they've been playing their cards lately.
Jeff, any idea when Mazda officially plans to announce/release the 2011 specs/changes publicly?

The main changes have been posted somewhere here.. but they are still preliminary, so I haven't posted them.
But now you can add leather to a GS and all of the GTs will have Leather.

Will the GT's MSRP go up since leather is standard?
I'm PISSED...one of the reasons I didn't get the leather on my 2010 GT is because I had to also get the moonroof. Bummer! I REALLY wanted leather. I should have ponied up I suppose......

then it would be right to wait for the 2011 ones eh? and all the GTs having leather sounds pretty good :)
but i wonder if there would be price change from 2010 models and incentives when it gets released?

You could wait for the 2011, but dont expect them to have 0% right out of the gate.. as for the remaining 2010 at that point, they may have a better cash incentives but you may not get your first colour choice or package.
