Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
I don't think corollas have a proper housing for HID's... Correct me if I'm wrong
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
I believe so, I noticed what was either a 2009 or 2010 Corolla using HID's and it completely changed the look of the car.
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
Definitely check if the headlights have halogen reflectors or projectors. If I recall, only the Camrys and up have projectors. I haven't seen many 11' Corollas on the street, so I can't comment on it yet, beside its a typical Toyota design :)
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
Unless you have a projector headlight, otherwise it won't look any goods other than blinding other cars. You'll need to install a set of projector on your headlight and refrotfit HID, go to HIDplanet if you have no clue what I'm saying.
Corolla is just a simple and normal car, any windows tinting company can do it. Odd question when you ask do they do Corollas.....
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
You may want to check out toyotanation.com the official Toyota forum, they may be able to help you.
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
I really really hope you don't install HIDs in that car. It's becoming a plague the aftermarket HID hack job. You'll have tons of light blinding everyone, tons lighting up the first 5 feet infront of the car and nothing before that because the light's all diffused. It's all look and nothing else like a pair of over augmented breasts which feels like tires pumped up to 50 psi.

+1
Re: New Vehicle! (Non Mazda)
I hear ya. These are not projector lamps there reflectors aimed at the ground - similar to that of a projector housing.
I'll try to get a picture of it, the reason I thought of it was because as I was driving I noticed the same corolla with HID Lights behind me - both fogs and Night lights were modified and it was not harming my vision any worse then regular lights. I wouldn't consider anything that would harm other drives on the road unlike the new BMW's and Benz's that aim the HID into your rear view mirror.
Would look something like this:

Im in no rush to do things still have some other stuff to do first! Plus the current lights seem bright enough ;)
