rsquared's "All show, no go" 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in arctic white
Bought a used 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in Arctic White from Mazda of Toronto back in December 2005, otherwise known as the "BTB era" (before the Biz :chuckle). I joined this forum before I bought my car, so I got bit by the modding bug early on.
That being said, I've always been more into the cosmetic mods than performance mods.
Here's a look at some of the major changes through the years
Part 1
Summer of 2006: window visors, chrome turn signal rings and sharkfin

Then I changed up the rims in Fall 2006

Added aftermarket led tails in Spring of 2007:

Summer 2007: tints, replica GV lip, angel eyes

Finally got a spoiler in Spring of 2009, replica Mazdaspeed3 spoiler

Pretty awesome man. Glad I'm not alone on the visual>performance outlook lol. I'm getting there though..
So you went from Aftermarket to OEM tails? any reason? :P im more of a fan of the aftermarket ones tbh.

Re: rsquared's "All show, no go" 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in arctic white
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Mitchell3 - Mazdy pretty much summed it up, got bored of the aftermarket look and always loved the circular look on the oems. Trade worked out well for both sides. All my parts are fairly new now, so won't get bored for a while :chuckle

Re: rsquared's "All show, no go" 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in arctic white
2nd gen MS3 rims powdercoated Argento by Metal Coaters. Just need to paint the center caps. Hmm, should I paint them red with a white logo or gunmetal with red logo? :)

Re: rsquared's "All show, no go" 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in arctic white
That combination - red and argento - looks absolutely fantastic! :hawt
I vote for argento cap + original chrome logo. Keeping a few chrome accents here and there doesn't hurt.
If you're set on painting both though, then argento cap + red metallic logo.
EDIT: Another easy option if you make the badge red might be to simply paint overtop the chrome with red VHT niteshades.

Wow they turned out great.

Re: rsquared's "All show, no go" 2004 Mazda3 Sport GS in arctic white
looks awesome.
i say paint the center cap same color as the rims and the logo in red.
i did sort of the same idea. just not same color. and i get TONS of ppl that look at my rims and think they are aftermarket rims. i used the metal cast paint from dupli color. http://duplicolor.com/products/metalCast/ got it at CT
