Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
Hi all,
First off... love this forum. It has been incredibly useful in my decision to transition from a Honda man to Mazda. :headbang
This will be my very first new car purchase and looking for all the help I can get. Been to a couple of dealers so far and this is where I'm at:
2012 Mazda 3, Sedan, GS-SKY, Automatic, GS-L Package, $26,500 OTR. Will be financing at 1.9% over 60 months. This is without a trade-in (decided to keep the Civic for now) and no other "incentives" per say.
Seems like an average deal but I just feel like I should be getting something in the $25K range. Would really appreciate your thoughts and insight.
Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
You may want to contact Jeff "TheBiz". He works at Mazda of Toronto and sells a lot of cars to people on this forum including myself. He's an active member here and will be happy to give you his opinion.
Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
& I picked up the same car you're looking at earlier this month. So far I'm really happy with it.
Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote

Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
I wouldn't blame you seeing the crap Honda just came out with lol
Also just food for thought, have you checked out the Hyundai Elantra/Chevrolet Cruze/Volkswagen Golf-Jetta? Although I like the Mazda 3 it might be worth it to look at other things before dropping the 25k?

Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
I also got my Mazda from The Biz. No hassle, no haggling. Could I have gotten a better price? Maybe. But could I have done it as easily as dealing with Jeff? I don't think so. Gyro wanted crazy money and kept trying to scam me by showing me how low the monthlies were and no mention that they had spread it over 7 years at 2.9%.
Jeff gave me a price I was happy with. Didn't pressure me into extras like rustproofing, extra warrantees etc.
Also talked me out of spending money on options that may not have been worth it.
If I'm buying a Mazda next car, I'll be giving Jeff a call. Or recommending him to people i know who are looking.

Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
You can check the msrp by using mazda website and evaluate the price you being offered, or like many members would tell u to go visit jeff! You may not get the best price but at least u should have a best deal possible since everyone recommened him!! Personally, best price ...well...the lowest possible, "best deal" is the whole purchase experience from begining til the end!
Do keep in mind that the car(sky version) just came out not that long ago, so dealers may still consider it as a new model which means you might not be able to get the price which you feel like you should be getting!
Re: Advice on my Mazda 3 quote
I just picked up a 2012 3 Sport GS-SKY MT6 with moonroof, tinted windows 27K OTD at 0.9% over 84 month.
I think I could have it for a bit less, but the 0.9 made me not want to haggle to much.

The 0.9% is from Mazda Canada.. not the dealer
