OK i know this is probably a stupid question but i am new. if someone could direct me to how to create a profile picture or Avitar. all i need is direction to the how to as i am sure someone has asked this before and i cant seem to figure it out

Just kidding.
It's pretty self explanatory once you have enough posts to have one.
I believe you need 10 posts. Once you have them the option will appear in your profile. Then just hit the edit avatar button.

Ahhh… that’s the reason. Well, hopefully this post will putme at #11 and I will go check. A lot of stuff is tied into having at least 10posts! I can’t even add attachments or edit may post yet. We’ll see after thisone.

Exactly where is this setting? I have 11 posts. My "Edit Avatar" section says "Do not use an avatar" and I can't change this radio button because it's the only option available. This doesn't change whether I have Show Signatures, Avatars, Images checked or unchecked. Anyone?

on the left, Edit Avatar - > check the "use custom avatar" radio button, then either put the URL if hosted or browse to the file if local

Not directly related to but, can someone plese walk me through how to properly post pictures? I've followed the instructions and have used flickr and photobucket. It seems that some people can see my posts and some cannot. Sorry in advance for bringing this up again!
The last ones you posted from photobucket ended in jpg.html. They need to end in .jpg only, so the code you're copying is the wrong version.Quote:
