I got a 20 second video of my tach and speedo going up during the dyno test... I\'ll try to upload it somewhere... it\'s fun to watch. My car apprently maxes out at 188, as stated in the handbook.

Check this out http://www.tagracecraft.com/Tag_services.html that\'s where they got it done..
I think it\'s like $75 for 3 pulls or $130 for a full hour unlimited pulls.

What happens at 188km/h?
does the engine cut out?
does it just stop accellerating but the enging keeps revving?
and is it true you can stall the engine if you go too far past redline?
(in manual mode on the AT)

fuel cut...the ecu stops the flow of fuel to the engine so it will \"die\" for a split second and the rpms and speed will drop. once the speed falls below 188km/h, the fuel will kick back in and the car will accelerate again.
if you keep your foot planted while doing this, your car will jolt as it \"dies\" and comes back.
i\'ve never driven an AT 3 but i do know in other cars that if you hit redline while holding the shifter in a lower gear other than D (i.e. 2 in the P-R-N-D-2-1 pattern) the \"rev limiter\" will kick in. with all the computers in an automatic tranny these days, you can\'t over rev the engine while downshifting...the computer will only shift into the gear when it is safe to do so (i.e. going into 1 from D at 120km/h).

its sucks when you hit 188 which usally = being passed . yeah the car shuts down , but you can keep it around 185-188 if your light on the gas . not that i would know i never driven that fast :sarc Come on cosworth racing i want my d power kits now i cant wait .
