Thinking of buying my first new car

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2014 Mazda 3 GS manual (first manual car too). Ideally, I'd like the 2.5L in manual but unfortunately they don't exist :(. I'd like to get it with the moonroof/tech package and was wondering what kind of offers you guys got on a similar car in the Ottawa area? I don't have any experience buying from a dealership and was wondering what kind of incentives will they offer? How did you go about negotiating your deal? I personally plan on keeping the car for 5+ years, and am a little concerned with the workmanship/reliability since they're made in Mexico now. I know the GTs are still Japan made, and considering waiting a year to get the GT in manual (none of those crazy ieloop and lane warning things, end up costing more to maintain after warranty) which according to rumors will be available in 2015.
I'm even willing to buy a used 2014 3, but no one's selling them.

I appreciate any help you guys can offer. I plan on shopping around for the best deal, but there's only like 4 Mazda dealerships in Ottawa.
