Hey guys,
I am getting my Mazda3 GS Hatch in the next month or so(waiting for the dealer to locate the car), and I am planning on upgrading my headlights with Xenon lights - DRL and low beam.
So I was wondering whether anyone installed such upgrade already and could share some pictures of how the lights look during the day and during the night. I have not found any pictures online, or threads where I could ask people for this, so I decided to create a new thread on the forum.
They don't come stock with xenon? Everyone I have seen has them stock
nope.... only GT comes with xenon

I did mine 5000k from sp3GT looks good. I'll post pic soon...
the xenon's def make a difference, it just wont have the same lines as the GT
I installed HID's in my GS too...very easy to do and light output is great!
i installed HID lowbeams in my 2014 3 GS. very simple the passenger side you can get at from under the hood and the drivers side is also not too bad but you have to go from the wheel well which is just removing 4 or 5 plastic rivets and bending the plastic well cover to the side. you can run the connecting wire from ballast to ballast up under the plastic where the wiper blades are which hides it nicely. the one thing I'm still working on is adjusting them, there is a vertical adjustment but i haven't found the horizontal one. maybe someone could help us both with that?
i found the same thing because my GS has the passenger seems more spread out and the drivers is more of a focused beam i adjusting the vertical level but i didn't see anything else
If you are in Canada which I assume you are, that car is a sorta problematic with DRL and HIDs. The DRLs are working at reduced voltage and cause the low beam HIDs to flicker.. Most ppl install a relay harness to overcome the issue but I've heard from a friends of mine that they had issues with the relay after few months, due to corrosion, etc. you can also install the kit plug and play just remember to turn your lights on to full power all the time.
I don't suppose it is as simple as it not being installed properly on the passenger side? I put my HIDs in and they both seem quite well focused without having to fiddle with the alignments.Quote:
