2005 Mazda 3, Aftermarket Fog Light Install

So I got this aftermarket kit for my car, it came with the switch that you install on the left side of your steering wheel, I have the switch wired in and it was working when the car was turned off, but when the car is running the fogs dont work but they will turn on and off randomly when driving,
I had it connected to a black and red wire on the steering column because that is what I found to do on another forum but its not working, can anyone help with what wire to tap into?

Need to know more about exactly how you wired the fogs up... there are lots of red and black wires. Black is usually ground, but red varies....

If you just want to control them via the switch, then you only need to find a 12v switched power wire and a ground point to connect to. After that, turn car on, turn switch on... Let there be fog light.
