BORLA CAT BACK EXHAUST OPINION?
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 2006 mazda 3 sport GS hatchback 2.3L and wanted to do some essential modifications. So far I have upgraded my rims and tires and got the car tinted.
The next big thing on my list other than the sound system is the exhaust. I recently purchased a borla catback on Kijiji and am waiting to get it installed. Does anyone have any experience or advice they can give on aftermarket exhaust systems? What to be mindful of? Or what to expect?
Thank you!

Re: BORLA CAT BACK EXHAUST OPINION?
Already purchased? A little too late for opinions in that case huh ;) lol
I've ran my (slightly modified) Borla catback for over two years now and I still love it. I think it's one of the best sounding exhausts for our cars, especially if you don't want something too loud or drony.
What to expect? Lower gas mileage since you'll find yourself wanting to step on it more to hear the exhaust lol
Enjoy!

Had one on my focus. Loved it. Actually the video that had me decide to buy it is still up. I miss it..

Had one on my 2006 Mazda 3 HB and loved the subtle tone.

Got one on my 06 2.3L sedan. In my opinion it's the best cat back for our cars. Nice deep tone, very little highway drone, and absolutely no rasp (rasp is for Hondas)

thank you all for the input, I must say I do quite enjoy it. It was a very simple bolt on system and I love driving with the windows down now LOL. I recently installed my AEM SRI and wow, the exhaust paired with the SRI sound amazing.
