2014 Mazda 3 / Intake / Exhaust / SRI upgrade without Exhaust upgrade?
I'm thinking of getting a SRI and an Axle back exhaust.
But I wanted to know if it doesn't make sense to be getting a SRI if I only plan on getting an Axle back exhaust.
Will the performance upgrade of an SRI be almost obsolete without an upgrade to the exhaust.
Extra intake...with no extra exhaust (catback) = pointless?
Or would I still notice the performance upgrade

I removed the cat mid pipe and ordered a dual resinator replacement from Racing Beat. It has an awsome low tune and I believe the engine breaths better now.

I think it’s more of a sound thing in daily driving. Won’t notice much performance in daily driving but the car will appreciate the cleaner air I bet. Like Charlie said, the sound is better. I ordered an SRI from corksport but didn’t get to install it. Wrong engine size XD. I have 2.0 and ordered 2.5 by mistake

I also got the Corksport Axle back. Sounds like a dream
Re: 2014 Mazda 3 / Intake / Exhaust / SRI upgrade without Exhaust upgrade?
I would do both..
I have done both...installed Corksport SRI and catback exhaust (corksport numbers ..dynojet?.. 20WHP on a 2.0L set up with both)
Just SRI is 5WHP. Catback improves everything...especially the sound.
