WOW...Erin Mills Mazda gets ANOTHER Bad thread...

You would never believe this.

So I go to pick up my car today (Demo GS 04). I had seen in at night (it was in nice condition at the time) and the other time I tried to see it, it was quote not avalible. I was expecting it to be in Good condition but boy was I wrong. I should have taken pics with my cell camera. It was pitiful and Im TOTALLY pissed right now.

They wanted me to sign for it before I got to see it again...hell no. The guy hands me the keys to see it and when I went out side I was in for a nice surprise. The hood is littered with stone chips. I can manage a few...but they were EVERYWHERE!!!!! I could see small bare metal chips all over. Different from when I had seen it before...I made sure to run my hands all over the car for pits and scratches....

If thats not enough, the engine splash gard was hanging off on one side. How the hell could that happen? I was looking at the front bumper and it was just dangeling there...

Oh and the interior smelled like smoke. So let me get this stright...they are detailing my car and smoking at the same time... :sarc Oh and the arm rest had a new mark on it. I dont know how it happened and it was not there before but its there now.

This is totally stupid and I had it out with the manager...after ringing out the emplyees, he told me that all my concers would be addressed and it would be fixed by Monday/tuesday (My ass :sarc )...so how does a car go from being in good condition to piss poor in a few days? And they had the freaking nerve to show it to me in that condition like I was goign to take it as is...freaking tossers...

so there you have it...I have the piece of mind to walk away from this...

Now that is a terrible experience. Sorry to hear, today should have been a fun happy day and instead you get this BS. Keep us posted.

I\'d cancel the deal if they mess up the second time. You should ask for some accessories for your aggravation. Dont\' let them f**k with you.

IF things sour and you need a good referral. I\'ll give you the name of my sales guy at Prima if you want to go that far out. I\'m downtown and it took 32 mins to get there.

Well...Im giving them a call tomorrow to find out if they will finish ALL of the conserns I have with the car...if not Im walking as I need the car by Wednesday...if not then I guess Im looking elsewhere...

Well then, I called TWICE today and guess what...they could not confirm the date I will be recieving the car and they said they would call me back BOTH TIMES...

I think you should be documenting and getting records of this disaster, if you need to take further legal action later down the road.

ya they did that to me too, i was like i wanna see it before i sign it, but looked nice and shiny and everythin so i signed it and went off, then i found out my glove compartement was broken right away i took it back i complained and everythin they couldnt do anythin to me, so they fixed it lol

Okay...I checked my work messages and they called me back at around 6 on saturday (closing time for me so I didnt get it till today).

Its in the shop and they will call em again Monday night to tell me if I can pick it up on Tuesday.

I will keep you posted...

you can cancel the deal and if they give you flack remind them of bait and switch as they showed you one product and prior to finalizing there are things that appear different.
did the VIN\'s match?? with the car you saw and the car they gave you the keys to?? always check the VIN\'s as they contain more info than you think...and it\'s the only way to guarantee it was the car you saw.

Sounds like the lot person(s) (the kiddies who drive the cars during PDI to get gas) took it for a REALLY good drive before it was leaving their possession (or so they think). I have a friend who works in a non-Mazda dealership and he use to do sh*t like that with brand new cars when he went to get gas in the cars... redline, racing, etc. :sarc

Well, they called me back yesterday. Its still in the shop. They are going to call me AGAIN today to update me and to tell me when I can pick it up (hopefully:sarc )

Okay...I just got the call that I can pick it up tonight...Im heading out at 7PM...wish me luck:(

Well...I picked it up...and it was fixed. Im actually surprised:D ...I will post pics tomorrow in my other thread;)
