I remember driving your car. The clutch was crazy for daily driving.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Clutch was fine for me. I ordered the same style for the speed.
No the 6 wasn't boosted. I had a boost gauge because it was cheaper then a straight vacuum gauge.

Ohhhh....
How ffuccking lame is that

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
The guy that has 2 engines, 7 manifolds, 12 spare clutches..
Big bear couldn't afford vacuum gauge?!? Muffin....
-
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Seriously though, I would get that question a lot. I wanted a straight vacuum gauge but they were like double the price.

Buying 2 engines is also double the price
Guess that concept hasn't registered yet....
:rolleyes

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Actually I only bought 1 engine. The other one was free from DWM.
I couldn't justify the gauge, plus I think it was only available in 2-5/8 and not 2-1/16 like the others.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Took wife for test-drive last night, she's not liking the vibes+noise. She describes it as a "sensory overload". Seat vibrates, brackets rattling, weird engine sounds, louder exhaust.
I just told her you'll get used to it. These foreign sounds will sound familiar after a while.
Simon, does the baby cry when she gets in the car?

Lol, good luck with getting her to not hate it.. Haha. However, as all the mounts settle they get a bit quieter. My previous car I had the passenger mount, dog bone mount a d transmission mount. When I first installed all that the car sounded beastly but after a month or two the car got a lot quite but still a bit louder than before the mountain. She'll be fine... Lol

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Fywdyl, just tell her to drive her car then! hahaha
my wife is so used to the way the speed3 vibrates that she comments on other people's car when she drives with them.
stuff like "why is your car so quiet? is it even on?", "man your car is wussy"

I should change her mounts one day when she's not around.

She'll KILL ME. The whole time she was in my car last night, she kept saying how her car is so smooth and it's such a nice ride etc etc.

After driving your car out onto the runway last week I'd have to agree. Wasn't bad at all.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread

Hahaha, the baby has not set foot in the speed. Don't want her to get "shaky baby syndrome".

LOL. You can do a lot to the 3 before it ends up being anything as violent/loud as the 6. So I'm not surprised she's adjusting fine to it.. haha. I'm still looking forward to seeing your built 3 whenever that happens.
