They gave me the option...said if I wanted to enjoy the good rubber for a few days then come back to get the winters would be ok, so I'll be on the stock rubber for probably the week. Gives me a chance to feel what the car can really do lol

I would recommend using a good rubber all the time.

Anyone know someplace locally I can have a cheap remote starter/keyless entry unit installed on my car?

I got my remote starter from future shop, whether it was cheap or not i don't remember, I didnt buy it myself. Id advise spending a bit extra money for a good one though unless theres a better place for them with good price/quality. mine does wonky stuff sometimes. I dont think my range is as good as they say it is. The one button it came with was too big too, I dont even use it anymore. Id sit down at home and manage to push the button and hear my car start outside :whoa. still good for winter mornings though

It's a little off topic but I imagine one of you guys must live in Waterloo. My girl friend is looking to do her masters and Phd there so where probably going to be moving there this summer so what part of the city is good to live in? We would prefer not to live in a big building, were more looking in the direction of like a duplex or in law suite rental. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

You want to live close to the university, unless she's got a car.
But http://www.och.uwaterloo.ca/ is a good place to get started.

Hope she's got a car so she can get a nice place (nicer) to live.
