Real rims are real. Fake rims are fake.
Honestly bluegreens never seem to capture properly. Half the time my wheels look blue, half the time grey, half the time green. 150% different.
Yeah photographing that colour will be a challenge..
At least it's not red!
I think the colour came out good in Phil's shots. I didn't get any with your wheels in the sun, I think that's half the problem. Needs some more light to get the true colour.
Phil? That shit was in the daytime I think more light for the camera sensor the easier it is
Shot lol
Car looks incredible man! Makes me miss my Mazda. If I had kept my speed I had ideas of wrapping it a similar shade of Orange. Keep up the great work @FD22
You need a lip
Still can't get over it. Looks awesome. Spoke with my buddy at Diptek very happy that you finally decided to do this lol. 😜
Turned out really good! :thumbsup
Aside from all the harassment already mentioned above :chuckle just wanted to add you should probably seal the rear wholes.
you should get the curved christmas tree caps and fill the holes, like filling the front plate holes. Just dip them orange to match
Thought of that too, but I feel like that would stick out a bittt more than just vinyl stickers. Plus with stickers it's a little more "water-tight" as opposed to the caps which might not sit right up against the hatch all the time. Meh, we'll see. If stickers don't work out, I'll try the christmas-tree cap method.
if you're going to sticker your car, make sure you really like that sticker... wouldn't want to change your mind and peel up the dip.
i found some really thin ones that curve and stay pretty close to the bumper. i had a bottle of touch up paint and did them so it's hard to tell at a distance.
I'm not used to all this..haha this thing is getting so many comments from random people off the street. I may not be able to do any spirited driving, and it may be a pain in the ass to drive this car at certain times, but these random comments definitely make it more bearable haha
Went for a little shoot with my friend downtown today (what a horrible idea that was...) and stuck in traffic, one of my numerous random conversations with people around me in their cars went something like:
Random guy: "I gotta ask...what car are you driving there?"
Me: "A Mazda3"
Random guy: "No way!" - then proceeded to lose his shit LOL asked me to clarify like two times after that
Normal compliments and all are one thing (which are nice too), but it's refreshing coming across comments like this haha I can only start to imagine what you show-stoppers experience on a daily basis driving your cars around.
Anyway, little sneak-peak into our shoot today. Can't wait to see the pics once my buddy is done going through them. Can't believe this car is worth doing a shoot for haha it's a good feeling loving your car again
