The last unicorn......
Yup...
My niece has be wrapped around her finger..
Now You See Me - 5/10, fell asleep through the middle of it
The Place Beyond the Pines - 8/10, not was what I was expecting...which ended up being a good thing
Fast 6. Just TERRIBLE. Couldn't even watch the whole thing, I had to turn it off.
At home: Adjustment Bureau. Not a bad couples movie - Action, little bit of sci-fi mind****ery and a love story all in one.
Theater: Kickass 2 - More violent than the first, but a good movie. The Action/Comedy/Gore is a fun combo.
Watched "The Impossible" over the weekend. Actually fairly heart-wrenching. 8/10.
Really? i thought this movie was great. sure, it dragged on a bit, but at the end theres a twist that i didnt expect which made the movie great. @bluntman
i just watched that over the weekend. i thought the twist at the end was kinda stupid and just didn't work. you can't just take one of the main characters that we follow through the movie and pull a complete 360. i will give them credit that i never saw it coming but it just didnt make sense. other than this i found it pretty entertaining.
I've been all over the spectrum in terms of the types of movies being watched over the past several weeks. In no particular order:
The Big Chill (1983) - It was the 30th anniversary showing @Tiff which influenced my decision to see this film again after 25 yrs. Storywise, just as entertaining as it was back then but cringing at the fashion statements being made.
Man of Tai Chi (2013) - Interesting directorial debut for Keanu Reeves, provided that you have no expectations for it being nothing more than an old fashioned kung-fu flick on the corruption of innocence.
Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) - Khaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Grandmaster (2013) & Ip Man The Final Fight (2013) - Both are slow paced. Given a choice, I would watch the Grandmaster again due to the cinematography and choreography.

Now you see me, now you don't.
Recently saw Disconnect. 7/10. Not a bad drama.
Also "The East". 6/10. It's a little far fetched and a little slow. Was expecting it to be better.
I watched Fast and Furious 6 on the plane...what a load of crap. It gets 1 point because of the fight scenes with Michelle Rodriguez and Gina Carano and another point beacuse Jason Statham makes an appearance in it. 2/10.
just watched insidious 2 good movie, not very scary but SUPER suspenseful oh and you definitely need to watch the 1st movie before you watch this one
Just watched The Family... was disappointing. The trailers really had me expecting more out of it.
I watched incidious 2 at the drive in Friday. Turned up the subwoofer near the end and it was amazing! Every bang and shock on screen vibrated the car making it seem like you were there. Was an amazing idea lol
Teeth
12 Years a Slave, very good, but very, very disturbing.
