Agree with Alex. I might even add some rub resistant material in between, then zip tip. Another word of comfort, I suppose, is that if either one of them moves, they'll be moving together.

Good call Alex, Vince. I'll look into it this weekend.

So is Anson's adapter spoken for then?
If it is I am gonna place a order with DO to get one, will the SP nozzles work for that mount or should I buy a nozzle too?

Adapter spoken for.
It'll work, but the nozzle itself needs quite a bit of work to thread it in... ask me how I know.
Best bet is to order a DO nozzle to save yourself the headache. Make sure you get the correct one that works with the adapter (outside mount nozzle).

How do you get a 32 hour old baby to stop crying?
Car ride home from hospital in BT speed3 with full cp-e engine mounts

See? They DO serve a purpose.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
So I have somewhat decided to get the snow performance adapter for mounting the methanol nozzle to the silicone, considered getting the Devil's Own Adapter but after seeing Anson's post on MSF about having to rethread it to get the snow performance nozzle to fit it turned me away.
Just wanted to run my thoughts through you guys before putting my order though :P
My order:
1 Snow performance adapter
lmao...
Glad to see Anson's latest logs getting the KR out of them with the meth, I hope I do the same :)
I am just afraid of a boost leak from installing the SP adapter, so if anyone has a better suggestion let me know!

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Washer method. Only works with DO style nozzles.

I was thinking about that too, so I would just have to order the nozzle I want from DO?
You done this already? Saw that you said you were going to do it on MSF but not sure if you did already.

Yep that's what I ended up doing

Sweet, I will look into doing this then. What size hole did you punch and where did you get the washers from?
Whenever I look for random hardware like this I always end up finding every size except the size I need lol... thanks for all the help by the way, I really appreciate the advice.
And the last question before I go into buying anything, what's the deal with the check valves and upgraded solenoids?
I know they keep the lines from back flowing and syphoning but what are the actually times that this happens and you need one?
I am gonna do some research on the matter but if anyone has a short answer, let me know :)

There a several factors, like nozzle location in relation to reservoir, pump location in relation to reservoir, etc.
If you're trunk mounting Snow highly recommends a solenoid upgrade (also if spraying post TB).
My original plan was to trunk mount, so I ordered a solenoid with my kit, as it stands I just mounted it in the bay and used the solenoid anyway.

Also, Snow claims that their pumps have an internal check valve, but I know several went with DO check valves anyway.
It's just cheap insurance.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
So basically you are saying I need to get a solenoid or a check valve if I am to have my meth system working properly?(no syphoning) because if so I am just going to get a check valve, for the sake of it being easier to install.
I planned to mount the tank somewhere in the engine bay, where ever I can find space, which seems to be by the driver's side fender.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Lex from MSF just answered my question for nvm... he said as long as there is a check valve or solenoid on the system I should be good because it has a cracking pressure of 16psi(so it would stop syphoning under vacuum). I am gonna get a check valve from DO and a McMaster-Carr Nozzle for washer mounting on the silicone. (Contemplating getting a DO nozzle too)
Apparently they are good nozzles to mount this way because they have longer threads to allow for 2 washers on either side of the silicone.

Let me know how that works, I'm way behind on my build :( moving has taken all my time and money.

Just kidding....

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
lol... your prosport GI order made me want gauges so bad but I think I am going to go digital for monitoring.
How much do you think the orders will come to with the adapter and 2 oil gauges(just an estimated cost)? Just wanted to see if I could afford it right now with my other car stuff.

What do you mean digital for monitoring?

Android or Ultragauge/AP combo, just need to get a OBDII Splitter so I can monitor KR because the ultragauge doesn't have KR but everything else. (the ultragauge has alarms for warnings too)
Why is everyone all over the oil temperature monitoring? Is it better then measuring coolant temp?

You can't split the signal. It's AP or some thing else not both.
Coolant temp is not your oil temp.
Digital vs analog you won't be able to read numbers on a digital read out but you can view needle general position in the corner of your eye

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Just PMed JBR and he said he would knock off 10% if I can get over $500 for the order so that would probably cover the some of the S+H/Brokerage charges. I would start a thread for this but GB rules kinda eff me in the eh...

Since Fobio/mspeed deals with JbR directly via group buys, why don't you contact them
