RPF1s do come in 17x9 +35. What I posted earlier is what I want for my car, but the selection of 235/40 street tires is so limited.
Where are you rubbing right now?

Interesting. Or alternatively, get new car and not worry about clearing anything ;P
Ah I see. And yea it is.
Umm...everywhere? [emoji14]

^ that's roughly what the rears look like when they rub. It likely goes up even deeper on impact of bumps and such, but this was just a static shot to get an idea of it. Essentially the whole top arc of the fender. It sucks cause we weren't able to fully roll my rear fenders last summer cause they were so rusted and it would've risked just splitting/cracking them apart from the inside. So that little lip that's still present, is shredding the tires every time it gets up to the fender.
Had @ryan2.3 help me out last night, and unfortunately ended up having to do what I didn't wanna do, which was adding camber. The rubbing is less now however when it does hit, it's hitting closer to the sidewall (as opposed to on the tread of the tire) which is even worse. But the frequency it hits is much less. However now the car is lower in the rear, so less wheel gap/clearance. What I'm gonna have to do is put my rubber perches back in and then I'll be able to hopefully have more camber, same wheel gap/clearance as fronts, and not rub too much. Just sucks cause I'll loose all the alignment work that was done last weekend on the rears and I'll have to get it aligned again. But such is life...
Face-down-ass-up pic from yesterday's long session. Thanks again for the help @ryan2.3

Seems like you need to stop rubbing before you really chafe. #seewhatididthere.
Ah yeah the lack of flat roll would do it.
Needs moar low...
Oh wait..
your car has taught me there's no such thing as a quick fix. you need to start showing up in the morning so we still have daylight
Trying to get into this whole editing game. Decided to just mess around with this pic, and get wacky with it. Not really sure what I even ended up doing, but meh, I think it came out kinda cool-looking :P ..maybe? No? I dunno

Kind of looks like a painting/sketch/drawing of your car in a realistic/cartoon way. Different than how people usually edit their car pics but still cool.
Kind of looks like what taking acid might look like
hahaha
If only it looked like that still. I remember when it looked that bright. God damn fade. But then again with the negative attention you've been getting as of late... Maybe being brighter isn't the best thing lol.
Just a bored Sunday editing pics..

It's like turning yellow lol. But I kinda like it. It changes colour every season. Until it goes white. I still do love this car. It's a trooper like my car is haha. Goes through hell and back and keeps on going.
Sound system updates please
I'm telling you man, its in that yellow/gold stage now lol looks okay-ish in the shade (goldy hue to it) but in the sun its straight up yellow
Me? Nothing to update really. Aside from its working and hasn't really given me issues for a while now lol nothing fancy in here at all. Was originally planning to upgrade the sub from this 12" MTX to a 10" JL, add in aftermarket tweeters, and possibly upgrade the door speakers to better aftermarket ones, but I'm done wasting money on this thing lol need to start saving for a more-than-likely clutch job... :(
Sooooo as it fades do you have to update the ministry on the colour change? XD
How is the ride now with the new rims/ tire combo?
They look beefy.
haha not gonna lie, by next summer I may actually have to go in and get it changed again. To yellow or gold or possibly white :|
Compared to my last setup, a hell of a lot more comfortable. But still way too stiff for Michigan roads, since I'm still pretty much maxed out on stiffness for the coils (can't lessen it cause I'm already rubbing in the rear). If I was still at home in Toronto, I think it'd be perfect.
Just go to the MTO and tell them yea the colour of this car is I have no facking clue. Hahaha you have a yellow 3. Amazing how fast it changes lol.
As for the stereo shit remember what I've always said. With new stereo components you can bring them into the next car with you. Especially if you get 6.5s because many cars come with it in general. And your gonna go JL now are ya maybe ;)! I guess my influence runs deep hahaha.
Finally got to try out my new lens. Unfortunately this is the only/main candidate I have as a subject for pictures..

Dat wheel gap dooe ;). Looks good bro!
Burn it with fire
Let it be orange one last time
Sell me the wheels first tho
did you take those flaps off already? or are those older pictures
Skinny wheels
are you still ontario plated? are you switching to Michigan so you can run no front plate? or do they still have to run it?
What'd you think this is, a Speed??
But no, I definitely miss the wide wheels of last season.
I'm hopefully gonna stop being lazy and switch soon. No front plate here. But with the rest of the car faded, I'll end up exposing a box of bright orange unfaded dip when I take the towplate off :loki ...plus my towhook cover isn't dipped either sooo I'm not gonna have quite as clean of a no-front-plate look as you'd think
Well it does have a speed bumper. Decieving.
