Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
If it's your strut mount bolt, I don't know if you know this, but you need to use a Allen key and a wrench. I bet $2 you're just spinning it.
If that's not it send me a pm I got a few tools and tricks.

I was assuming it was one of the 3 bolts that mount the strut. My mistake.
Just re read it. Ya. I was wrong.
When I did it I found it easier to loosen that up while it was on the car. Then remove and finish the job.

Magnaflow muffler from gen 1 on where my resonator used to be. Straight pipe after the axles. Need a resonator if I don't get used to it LOL

If it's spinning yes, you're right...although sometimes you can just buzz it off with the gun still but otherwise an allen key (8mm I think it was?) with an offset wrench is ideal.

Funny you say northern bay sands. That's where I'm from.
Sorry to hear that. We never want to travel home for piss poor reasons.
I'm a "townie" more or less. I never really fit into the whole bayman vs townie shit. Always felt bigger than the twin cities!

Ahhh. It's all the same once you leave NL. Bay or not. A Newfie is a Newfie. Hell I was raised here but spent my summers and whatever other time I could there.
I just found it funny. Most people, even from NL don't know the sands.
Back on topic though. Lol.
I looked at my car. Said I should get some of the dog hair out of it. Looked at some more. And had a beer. I'll do it another day.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
I've got enough dog hair in my trunk to grow a second dog.

Same here. And I'm in a sedan. I don't even know how hair ended up in the trunk.

I was using an allen key. I pretty much tried everything I could to get it undone. It started to twist the allen key :(

Try getting Jack Russell fur out of fabric. Its like little needles that weave into the fabric. Vacuum doesn't work very well, you almost need to pick it out with tweezers.

Great Dane fur is the exact same. Just a lot more of a dog produces a lot more hair.
I'll be doing it this week. So I will try and remember to take before and after pics.
Apparently there is an electric comb you can get that is supposed to work really well.
I just use elbow grease and a vacuum. If you rub the vacuum fast enough and hard enough over the seat it works. Actually this may be a good question for the detailers thread.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Any short wirey dog hair is a bitch to get out.
Even my 6lb chihuahua puts out more than enough hair for the car lol.
The rubber "static" brushes are great for those little hairs that seem to get woven into the fabric

Picture doesn't do it justice. As I'm sure it doesn't for you either.
There is a difference, long and short hair. long is so easy to pickup.
And yes. That's mud all over my seat as well. Lol.
On top of this. I just realized my friends must be shedding to. There is so much long human hair in here to

Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Yeah that small hair can be a bugger, almsot easier with a lint roller.
I wanted to get a schitcky just to see if if would work on the seats.

Not for the short hair. Maybe for yours though.
Lint rollers don't work either, nor duct tape.

The kitchen, specifically.
