What do I think?
I think you may as well just cut your balls off now and change your name to Amanda.
I'd rather cut 6" off my own legs so I could fit into my MS3 before I'd even consider driving any car from the company that is synonomous with the cure for insomnia.
Sometimes it's not always what people want, the speed 3. Did anyone of you watch this weekend's topgear? First time Clarkson said "i wish this car has a little less power". He said that about the f12 because well he's getting old and the car's clearly more racer than street car. And he just doesn't feel the need to handle a car that always feels like it's on the edge. And I get that cause my speed 3 it's bouncy, the drive train is not the most refine and it's loud. Sure, there are lots of time it puts a smile on my face but there are lots of times when I think it would be nice to just relax in an auto or have soft cushy ride when I am tried and stuck in traffic as well.
There's more to life than just a car...just saying.

If you say so, Susan.

Haha you guys are giving me a decent smirk over here. I've been assessing the options, and will likely stick with the speed for now and fix the suspension etc. I like the scion, but my head is too close for my liking stock, and having to buy an aftermarket seat right away just to properly fit a new car has me second guessing it. That, and it's still fwd but with less power, so I am not happy about that.
I'd very much enjoy if Gotak and Zoom zoom boy kept bickering though haha!

You really need to go and look at Hyundai's. I didn't give them a second look until my friend started working for Hyundai. He get's to take out any car he wants to play with for a week or two at a time (along with getting a company car of whatever he wants for him and his wife gets whatever she wants from them too). They are actually a shit load better than they used to be. The Veloster Turbo is incredibly fun, and powerful enough that it won't be a huge change from your Speed3, and it comes in bright red (DVN Hyundai has like 15 of them in bright red). I'm 6'2", I found it comfortable enough. Don't pidgeon-hole yourself, stop being a weenie and go take one for a test drive. Also look at the Genesis Coupe 2.0T it's got lots of power and room, JonJon is tall as f*ck and he fits in that just fine.
The only KIA I would consider is the Optima. KIA's factory race team is running two Optima's (turbo'd) and they are did incredibly well last season (the optima's first season), not sure about this year, haven't been out to many races unfortunately. If the Optima comes with a turbo version, it would be on my short list along with the Veloster Turbo.

Actually as a Speed3 owner and longtime Hyundai owner/fan I took a Veloster Turbo for a test drive and found the power really lacking. I was disappointed. Nicely designed and good value/features (as I'd expect from modern Hyundai), handled very well for a FWD car, but it didn't excite me at all. Might have also had to do with the sales guy trying to impress me with the LED strips in the headlights and I couldn't care less about those.. I guess he's used to selling cars to a different kind of buyer.
I'd like to drive a new-gen Genesis Coupe though.. haven't taken one out yet.

The new veloster got a pretty big torque and hp buff though ^
