Got an Eonon d5102 for Christmas (yah its been that long since I've been consistently active on this forum)
Made a custom mount for my Samsung Galaxy SII (t989) from an old Garmin GPS mount. Dremelled it up and it fits snug in behind the trim piece, but in front of the useless LCD (it still lights up though! I'll take some night pics tonight). Beauty of this mounting system is the phone is EASILY removable, and the mount itself slides in behind the trim piece so it can be adjusted with ease. It tilts, rotates and slides left to right!
-You can also see my DIY heated seat install beside the Cig-lighter. Hardwired them, and now my ass can be toasty warm at the push of a button! They've been installed for about a year and still work perfect (thanks ebay!)

Mount with phone removed. Going to get a car charger for this phone and hardwire it into the system. That way I can route the micro-usb through the trim panel so there will be no loose cables!
Let me know what you think! The Bluetooth audio feature on the d5102 is great as I don't need a 3.5mm cable anywhere (mind you I do have one run behind the console and through the ashtray. Real stealthy and easy access...but I never use it anyways.

stupid question, but did you ever end up selling those Speedy Sphere rims?? I remember I'd asked you a while back but couldnt justify spending that kind of $$$ at the time...I've regretted it ever since. I think they'd make a killer set of winter rims. If you still have them lemme know, maybe we could work something out.

I am going to be powdercoating these mazdaspeed mst-II rims this winter, what direction should I go? I've ALWAYS loved gold rims, or bronze, maybe even white.

I saw a bronze that was so dark it almost looked like it was black with gold pearl. I think that would look sexy on your set up.

About the display.. only '06 or 07-09 have functional displays with after market H/U.. the older models only have 1 harness plug and 07-09 have 2 separate harness plugs.
That is correct. I managed to find out the illumination wire for the 04-05 display so it lights up. That was before I looked on the d5102 wiki, haha.Quote:
