Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
May be a dumb question, but does anyone know where to get FL22 coolant other than the dealer? Maybe even for a cheaper price?

it's 25 bucks minus 20% from the dealership, that's not bad.

Thank, Loki. I was looking around online and couldn't really find anything. Figured I'd ask before making a trip to the dealer. But $25 minus 20% sounds pretty good to me haha.
Thanks again!

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
They only check via ODB and I got it deleted in a tune so there is no CEL. As long as you have no or pending CEL and other numbers are fine then you'll pass.

Not sure where it's clogged but I'd guess the EGR tube. It was a pain in the ass to get mine off.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Mazda sells cans of spray similar to brake clean, but it is designed to brake down carbon. (Originally designed for cleaning up rotary engines) and I have seen it used on the egr valve to help declogg it. @Snotrocket knows a little more about this.
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Mazda has a sweet foaming cleaning agent. Use it

Since it requires basic tools, I think your options are:
1) acquire tools
2) take to mechanic who has acquired tools
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
I have to deal with mine soon too.
If you're looking for some magic pour it in your gas tank solution there isn't one.
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
I have to do this as well. @Dave_The_BMXERlet me know when/how you are going to tackle this!
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
@KidRambo
Yeah I've got a few things to do once I'm moved. Motor Mount, Intake, EGR. At least now I have a proper garage so people could potentially hang!
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Cheap 93 gas at Esso, Don Mills and Eglinton. Might only be for a few hours.

Thanks Aitch, sadly it's parked away.
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Seems the garage queen has hit a snag. CEL P2096 persistently coming up for about a week now (since I actually have to drive around during the holidays).
Very quick search seems to point to BPV (and its associated hose and whatnot) or DP. Any common issues or things I should look out for? Tomorrow seems as good a day as any to take a hack at it!

My return hose on my BPV had a small crack in it. 2008 MS3 and I didn't have a code but replaced it anyways while doing EGR delete. Might want to check that since it's trivial to check.

Probably secondary o2 sensor.
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Thanks for the suggestions. I should probably add that its a 2013 with 45k on it, maybe 15k with the DP installed.

I've got under 50k on my car and had to do my rear o2 already, forget which code it was though.
