I didn't sign up yet I was made to feel like a criminal for not attending.
sawatsky, this is one of those times where you need to STFU. Please and thank you. That's it. We aren't talking about you so stop tainting this thread and the event!
This event was epic. So much time went into planning and getting people to help sponsor and donate towards the event. It went great for everything that happened and I am proud of all members and non-members who attended!
The list of people who registered is there for a reason. It is not there because you wanted to be cool and put your name down on the list as a maybe. We had specific designs required for a certain amount of cars. With that said, we unexpectedly had a lot of registered members bail without letting us know. If we had of known up front that we were going to be missing such a substantial amount of people, we would have adjusted the design for the setup of cars. IMO it's rude and disrespectful to all of those who worked extremely hard to plan the event. Obviously there were those who were legitimately sick or had babies on the way which have a legit excuse, and we would never think to question any of those people.
We had to adjust the design significantly and thanks to Vincent and a few other people we were able to get it done without a hitch. This should not have happened and common courtesy could have prevented this last minute hiccup.
For those who didn't sign up or attend the event, we aren't calling you out. That was your choice to not support TM3, Hearth Place or the event. It's a shame for anyone who didn't make it because it was a great event and everyone from what I can tell, had a great time.
I am sick of people bitching about this. We will probably call people out but this is not the time or thread for it. I do NOT want this thread to be negative at all!!
This was a great event for a great cause and I'm glad it went well.
Let's see some more pics in the picture thread people! :)

Although pretty epic and I'm sure you missed something great.
I don't think there is a reason to look down on ppl who didn't sign up. That's their decision and if it had been any other Sunday this month I wouldn't have been able to attend myself.
I'm very happy I did, as it was a very fun day.
The main problem is the people who signed up and didn't show. I understand shit happens. But 50+ cars not showing is pretty extreme. Im sure some have good excuses.
On the other hand. Everything worked out great and the 50+people who didn't come out still did donate. So all in all a great turnout and day.
nothing wrong with a good ribbing though. As long as everyone takes it lightly.

My bad guys. I guess my defensiveness is a pretty telling sign that I regret not trying harder to make time for this event. Glad it went well, and it looked like a great time.

I really do think this can be a yearly thing. Different cause each time, and maybe different people setting it up ( you guys did great but the stress for you must have been unbearable. )
That reminds me. Who wants to donate to the " organizers need therapy fund". Especially Ami, between MOM and this. He looks like he's ready to collapse.

"I see you blushing. "
Edit*
I wanted to add that I think the demographic of people involved in TM3 is amazing.
Between the "old timers" making fun of the "kids" at the north meet this morning. ( who was that by the way )
The people who seemed like fresh immigrants, men and women, and the mutli-national Canadians. We as a group are the polaroid of Canada, and I am happy to be part of such a wide range of people that get together just because of a car.

I got there a touch late after 'babysitting' some people at a house party in pickering till 6AM, so I was hung over and spaced out for most of it, but what a cool event. I did NOT expect that stuff would happen anywhere near as smoothly as it did. The setup, all things considered, was handled in pretty impressive fashion.
Hell, charity aside 15 bucks is a pretty small price for a t-shirt, burger, and having your car in a picture of probably the largest gathering of these cars that will ever happen outside a factory staging lot.

Hey all, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone, all the TM3 Members and the event organizers, for making this an extremely enjoyable first meet for me and my new (and still stock as of yesterday) Mazda3 Hatch. I pulled into the McDonalds parking lot at 5:30am, and there were only two other cars there, but from then right up to after 10pm when I applied my new TM3 decal to my car, I had an AMAZING time! Gotta love seeing so many Mazda 3s single file down the 401! Lots of awesome cars, lots of awesome people, and an awesome ZOOM ZOOM photo!
Thanks all for an awesome day!

After seeing the full-size aerial shot, I can say without a doubt that Vince and the other people doing the layout did an AMAZING job. Jeff and I were just roughly spitballing how to do the layout with less than 200 cars, and when we talked to Vince and Ryan they had roughly the same ideas. But when you look at the photo the placement is bang-on, and the letters are pretty much identical between the two "zooms".
Freakin' amazing if you ask me.

So as everyone else has said, AMAZING. This was my first meet of any sort and I can say I will be making as many trips and financially possible from Kingston for more meets! Was so cool to see everyone out and the organization was awesome so shout out once again to all who made this possible!

Thanks Steve! It was all the guys that stepped up to be human pylons and directing traffic that made it possible. And sometimes, things just magically come together like it was meant to be! What I learned yesterday was that planning ahead PLUS being flexible and adaptable is paramount in overcoming unforseen curcumstances.
Can't wait to start debriefing for our next efforts!

It's been said, but I want to thank all the mods and organizers of this event. Everything was thought out, planned and executed very well. Everyone's cars looked great, excellent job everyone. I managed to find and speak to both Vince and Ami at the event, but to those organizers I didn't get a chance to thank in person, thank you very much for doing this.

Re: TM3 Presents - Heart For Hearth on the Runway- AKA 300 Car Epic picture - 9/23/20
Just wanted to take some time out of my busy day at work to thank everyone who had a hand in organizing this truly epic event. It was well worth waking up at 5 am after having a wedding the day/night before (didn't see my room until 2 am Sunday) to be part of a large gathering for charity. The event ran smoothly, especially considering all the last minute changes that had to be made due to attendance. After looking at the formation, all of the screaming of "nice and tight" was well worth it. I must say I'm not sure how the second TM3 event I attend will compare to this, my first TM3 event attendance.
