My wife and I each have 3's and our mileage is very close.
On my 04 Sport 5 spd I averaged 7.5 L/100kms mixed driving. Her 08.5 GT auto gets about the same on the pump with her computer reading slightly higher than what I record at about 8.7.
I haven't had the Speed 3 long enough to tell anything yet, only at 700 kms. The computer is telling me 8.6. We will see....
I've noticed that the computer mileage is off compared to actual numbers. It's a decent estimate but it's a bit off.Quote:

Last weekend on the highway, got caught in stop and go traffic - construction on the Q.E. air on all the time and top speed 110K/H when possible. drove all week in 60 to 80 K/H zones, filled Friday managed to get in 44L couldn't squeeze in more on 530KM for a 34M/G. which is average for me, I get between 31 to 34 M/G normally.

I just bought my 3 about a month ago so I've only filled up the tank 2 or 3 times (since it came with a full tank from the dealer) but I've been getting over 550km's per tank so far. On the onboard computer my average consumption is around 9 L/100km so for a 55 L tank that seems pretty accurate so far.
Wouldn't mind getting it down to 8 L/100km but I do a fair bit a city driving. It's the city driving (or heavy traffic on the highway) that just KILLS your fuel economy!!!!!!
Your still in the break-in stage, so almost certainly you'll see an improvement as time goes by!! At Break-in I was avg 9-10l/100km after and presently I'm at 8-8.5/100km on average.I consistantly get about 550km per tank city.Quote:

Well the results from my second fill up are in for my 2.0 ATX:
29.76 litres pumped after 425 km driven for a fuel economy of 7 L/100 KM on the nose. Not bad, not bad at all. This is 100% highway driving though.
when you post your numbers please include your engine size and tranny auto or manual...just a suggestion

It should. Then again, it depends what kind of mix of city/hwy you do. To get to my job, I do about 95km/day in terms of driving. about 70% of that is on the hwy. So for me, it's pretty easy to average somewhere in the 8's in terms of L/100km. Then again, I don't use AC and I try not to gun it off a red light (most times XD).Quote:

ya my milage is all over, it seems like the past week i havent used the AC at all since the weather was frigid and it was the first time i got mileage over 600km to a tank. usually i only get around 500-550. so it seems like the AC makes a bit of a difference, i still avg 9.1L/100km which is not very good for a 5spd
before i installed my intake i was avg'ing 8.6L/100km
i'll have to see what i am now since hitting higher RPMs is much easier
I was avg'ing roughly the same. First fillup after the intake, I was at 8.1L/100km. While not a HUGE difference, every little bit helps to me XDQuote:

Oh, don't get me wrong. That's what most people said. And I noticed that too. When I REALLY step on the gas, I noticed when watching the KM remaining and consumption, it goes down FAST...but if you are conservitive and don't do it often, it seems to help a bit.Quote:
