Sounds like you're trying to trick him into a man date.

Re: Tri-City Area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge or Guelph)
Anyone know where I can get an oil change?
I would normally do it myself but am a student here so got no driveway, or the right tools to do so.
-
Re: Tri-City Area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge or Guelph)
Try one of the dealerships if you want. Oil changes are hard to screw up, so anywhere other than Canadian tire lol.

I know but a lot of places such as economy lube purposely f with your car because these shops don't make money off just oil changes.

Wrong. Lol. Maybe in the old days, but not anymore.

the dealership is cheaper than any of the quick lube shops, but you have to book ahead. And yeah they don't screw with your car. They upsell you and recommend stuff you don't actually need (especially if you happen to be female), but they don't mess with your car.

well as a former employee of 3 years at economy lube, i can 110% verify economy lube ****ed with your cars, not did services, used scare tactics "your engine will blow", and over charged for the comission since we had a "minimum price" per service, and the max price was unlimited. moxy and muter... mostly muter, encouraged this shit.
Edit: they probably are being more "cautious" now, since marketplace made that under cover video of them not doing services. I know the 2 employees "spilling the beans" and one of the sales people behind the counter.

There was a CBC documentary on it and it seemed that they did.
But I'll take it to Mazda then :P

Re: Tri-City Area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge or Guelph)
Right so get out of your car and watch them work. An oil change takes 5-10 minutes and they certainly won't break parts on your car with you standing and watching them. :)

Re: Tri-City Area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge or Guelph)
Active Green and Ross on King in Kitchener - Where I got my PSS's, beat every dealer even the Toronto ones and did an epicly good job installing.
Tire Team on University in Waterloo - Where I got my setup for my old car, Toyo's...nice people there and a little more "mod" friendly place.

@greyseason; Take your quote from exclusive tire to active green and ross here in Kitchener, they will beat it (won't be undersold on Michelin tires) and they're local.

To the other tire shop? If they haven't accepted it, you can cancel it (but you'll still get charged your fee for the EMT). If they have, you'll need to ask them to refund it. Generally deposits are refundable.

Appreciate that. I emailed AT&R, about their tires. Seems like the price im getting at exclusive is THE BEST price, im telling you. In the quote from green & ross it was $950+ where im paying $825 w/taxes or something like that. I dont know how they are so cheap, but i asked if they were all made in the same year (2013), as well as to them being brand new. That price also included removal of old tires, mounting, balancing, and tire bags.

Well fair enough...they do have a we won't be undersold thing on Michelin. I got my PSS's about $100 or so cheaper than any of the sponsors could do.
