The underlying chassis and drivetrain of the 2nd gen was much the same as the 1st gen and hence why most of the parts are interchangeable. The whole skyactiv thing is supposed to be new new new from the ground up. I have my doubts about 1st/2nd gen parts working on 3rd gens but I haven't had any first hand experience yet.Quote:
