Sweet! That was the exact car I wanted back in the summer but was unable to wait.
Re: Post up your latest purchases!

Re: Post up your latest purchases!
Ultimate X replacement wiper blades ( old ones from a year ago are streaking) and some "ICE car wash soap" .
Re: Post up your latest purchases!
Picked up some eurolight 55w ultra white H11 bulbs.
I remember when i was buying HID's they said that 55w is too hot for the housing. 55w halogens should be fine right? or should i look for another set?
Re: Post up your latest purchases!
might melt the connectors/wiring

This, although probably not. The stock bulbs are 35 watts IIRC so the circuits are sized for that. I'd be more worried about the headlight housing.
Re: Post up your latest purchases!
thanks guys, thats what i thought. BUT i do remember looking through the owners manual and atleast one of the bulbs were 55w. Meh, ill take a look tonight and if not will post them FS

IIRC - Rick @ Garage16 sells the Stage2 harness for these (I think thats what they were called LOL)
None the less - you would need http://mtqinc.com/nokyausa/accessori...harness_pp.php for it to be ok
Re: Post up your latest purchases!
Stock low beams are 55w on gen pu's. Not sure you really need anything, just swap.

That's what I was referring to. I realized they were 55w after I bought them. Dumb I know. Jut thought I'd ask!

What's the difference between the wolfsburg and the tech package? From my understanding it's the same and the wolfsburg is cheaper by about 8k MRSP

Eurolites are nice. I have the yellows in my fogs and they're plenty bright and has a nice shade of yellow vs the NOKYA.
I also had the unfortunate situation where I bought the 85w Arctic purple.. Did not realize I needed a stage 2..
Wish I found out about the Eurolites before...

Fortunately I did not, it was the middle of winter so I guess it retarded that process.
After a long drive one day, I stepped out and saw smoke. Looked down and sure enough my fogs were the issue.
Melted the lenses a bit but it's still working haha

Not surprised as that trim is usually excluded from the special financing rates.

@Mr Wilson
It's not a TDI... so not sure about mileage. It's my wife's beater, haha. We were considering the GTI, but not much of a break on the financing rates and it's an extra ~$100 a month, so not really worth it.

Due to a price match calculation error, I got this at an even cheaper price!
