Back in my car audio days we would superglue them in place :D
NICE. thats the one im tallking about. but i have the V2. so its silver and not black. half the damn thing is a heat sink lol. but it pounds like hell and i only have it about half for output
i have the A4300 for my speakers. i want the matching one to my 1000/1 (300/4) but i keep looking for a good deal like i got on the 1000/1. nothing yet. used. ppl are asking a fortune for them
@staax I know you've been updating things in here but are you planning to maybe do a write up as a separate thread? Something people can go back to and reference when they decide to try something like you? Like me :D
Yeah I don't mind - you want to know how I built my false floor? I may have enough pictures to maybe throw together a how-to if you like.
Alright well I'll see what I can come up with.
If you're using one sub you can certainly keep your spare tire. You would need to find a way to secure the spare and remove the bolt OR the weight of the enclosure may be fine. Keep that piece of fabric to limit the chances of it rubbing. You can easily fiberglass the inside of the spare wheel although its very shallow, you would need to raise the floor a little bit or buy a quality shallow Mount sub.
Yea I'm going for that one. But ill wait a bit. I figure I get the matching one just so it looks really nice. And buddy is only charging me 500 for that. So then the one I pick up tomorrow is just my winter amp lmao. Thing was when I bought that 300/2 (which is the exact same colour) all I paid for it was another 10W7 that I got with the HO box I bought. So it all worked out in the end. I guess we are opposite on amps we need loll.
did the whole claybarr...klasse red bottle, p21s wax job on the truck today...forgot how much i hate claybarring, haha
Claybar is a pain. But so great for the paint. Need to do mine before it gets too cold.
i was surprised, very surprised on how clean the paint was on a 2011 vehicle...
the roof was the dirtiest panel of the vehicle, for a truck, i figured the back half would be, but not so...
replaced both headlights on the red dub today

No smoked ecodes?....no VR Lip?.... no Jetta front end conversion?
No, no, and no lol. Actually I'm still not sure what I wanna do with the car. So far it's been a winter beater but on the other hand it's a coupe so I'd really like to tweet her. Then I realize I don't want to have 3 cars in my driveway cause that's just another bill I don't need (car insurance). So I'm planning on trading it in or sell it privately and getting something a little nicer...
Passenger front swaybar end-link replaced by Jimmy. Now my car doesn't clunk any more :)
Took out the fogs today, removed the cap for the bulb, and installed LED fogs.

For all the light they put out, they don't light up the road or anything well. Lol.
^
But the coolness factor though...
Yeah, ordered H11 LED off amazon, they just pop in, but the little silver cap I took the fogs out to break it off.

Put a new inner CV boot on the car today.
When to the Dealer and hoping that they can fix my Auto Start for Gen1 but I made a wrong decision. I end up paying or lost $88.74 bucks for diagnosis and they want to replace the whole module for $520+++. But I said no thanks, I can leave without it lol.
