how did the comparison of driving on a relatively smooth track vs driving on crappy streets come into play?

the race cars are extremely low, that's no doubt, but the bodies of those cars also take a good beating, and at the end of the day it doesn't matter because they'll just switch out any damaged parts and no skin off their back.

they also go through how many countless sets of tires in a day, and not the cheap stuff we buy either.

Anyway, I'm not arguing I'm just saying I don't know how the topic switched over to track cars.

If you're willing to take your slammed 3 for a romp around the track then more power to you though.
