Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
well not today, but last week
installed new(to me) tires/rims
rolled fenders 2x, because the first time around the tires still rubbed
changed to 24f battery as my stock battery started acting up
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Yesterday changed tranny fluid. Other than f*cking engine shroud it was smooth.

In the future when I think it's a good idea to install gauges just remind me of this picture. Kthxbai.

Pic is missing some other things I used (more tubing and barb union). I'm still mad at that engine shroud, I ended up not taking it off; 3 front bolts were siezed and snapped the welded nuts off :(

It wasn't so bad
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Second gen gauges are way easier, the defrost vent just pulls out. The first gen had it screwed in with a bitch of a screw to get at.

yes the entire Gen1 dash had to come out just to be able to get at that one screw

That's a bit of an overstatement.
Just the cluster and drivers panel, we didn't have to touch the passenger panel at all. Lol.

yes I have the single vent pod, or are you talking about the vent itself?
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Not today but yesterday, took it on the drag strip for the first time. 13.898 best of the day. Not bad for being my first time ever

the round vent itself. I broke the end tab that holds one of the fins in and also broke the brace that connects the two fins together

Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
they're abotu $25 on ebay. Probably a good price i guess, but it seems high to me. maybe i'm just cheap
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
I probably have a free one?
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
got both front and rear endlinks replaced. so much better.
Now to deal with the rear bushing issue thats slowly getting worse.
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
@FD22 came over, we both changed our oil, then i reduced the camber on my rears, then put in braided ss brake lines, but just in the rear. I was having trouble getting the lines off the caliper (flare nut wouldn't fit with the caliper assembled, so i had to take it off the rotor) by the time i finished it was too dark so i'll do the fronts another day. it can sit since I've got my work truck
Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Got bored, TiAL back to VTA, SilverDemon block off plates back in, checked FMIC piping. Still have to check the side motor mounts and a few other odds and ends.
There's nothing like taking panels off and finding loose screws.....................
