Kidding around would be in your best interest ;)
Vibez?
Stock mounts are ghetto.
Just ordered the JBR 88A RMM, Shifter Plate/Weight/Bushings and Heavy Shift Knob so I will post an update after I install. Got nice MS3 rims for my winter set up too :) just need to get my hands on some 225/40/18 winter tires now.
Current mods:
Tints, Rally Armor, Painted Calipers, Carbon Fiber Vinyls on interior and Weather tech mats... gonna chill out after I install the shifting upgrades. Gonna pay off my loans faster so I can mod next summer :D HPFP expensive and once I do that so many windows open!
Lol... running out of things to change on your speed? The thing is a beast!
Just saw the FS thread :O makes me sad to see your selling :( Any reason for it? upgrading? life? bored?
lmao... OHHHHH! trolls everywhere! **** me...
Lol
AP in, SRI in, fuel pump holding up very well thus far. 1600 -1700psi. The car pulls like mad now in 3rd and is so much smoother all the way through the gears, much easier to drive than before or it just feels way more driver friendly. I think I am just gonna get a TIP next after I get my winter tire situation checked out. I will post logs to see what everyone thinks tomorrow or perhaps the weekend. I don't feel comfortable doing 4th gear pulls anywhere other then a track, are 3rd gear pulls good enough to log with for the time being?
I have a 2012 Speed3 as well. Just got my AP. I had installed cork sport SRI + TIP about a month ago and i was worried on how the fuel pump was holding, so i just got my AP. The only time it dips around 1550 psi is in 2nd at WOT and it only does it 2 or 3 times in all my 2nd gear range. Tried WOT pulls on all other gears and she keeps between 1600 and 1700. From what i read it aint bad if it dips in the mid 1500's once in a while, but the next thing on my list are internals for sure.
The fueling logic might make it dip in 2nd gear but its 3rd and 4th that are the real gears to watch for I think/believe. If you look at the ratios they are the ones that are at the lower ratios. The TIP is what my next planned upgrade was gonna be then the internals, might end up doing them at the same time to save myself the hassel of doing separate installs. So I am happy to see your car can keep up with the fuel demands that my car will have on it in the coming months. Thanks for the info punkwrock :) You have a OCC yet?
In 3rd and 4th my pump holds mid/high 1600's...even in the 1700's. When i'm able to post a log i will....this thing won't let me :P And my AFR's are stable between 9 and 11. 9 is a bit rich, but i would rather have richness and no boom. I'm using the stage 1 OTS SRI+TIP @91 oct. No catch can yet.....i guess they are a good investment though. I should look into one.
Oh! And i guess they say one speed can handle fuel and the next one wouldn't. So let me know how you make out once you have the TIP. We would have the same build so i would be curious to compare numbers :)
I put the Stage 1 K&N SRI 91 Oct map on mine, not sure if you put the map on that is designed for your SRI. Check the Cobb website for you SRI brand if you haven't. I had mine on the Cobb one before but changed the the K&N which made a little difference in fueling. We should definately compare logs though, great way to see if our engines are running well/the same. I just ordered my OCC a couple of weeks ago, you should jump on the JBR group buy you get one if you do want to invest in one soon. MSpeed also does Saiko OCC's which are custom fitted for our speeds so you might be able to order one that way too.
Ps not sure if I'm running lean or not(perhaps someonew will comment) but at idle I'm at 14.8 or so for AFR and during acceleration if goes down a bit. Doesn't seem like I am running as rich as everyone else. Everything on the car feels fine.
Yeah i have the maps for the Cork Sport products i use. 14.8 at idle is dead on....that's what you want. I'm at 14.7....same thing. At WOT the ideal number would be in the 10's and 11 i believe...if you're in the 12's at WOT you're running too lean. And i'm just gona use OTS maps.....no screwing around with MAF calibrations and all that stuff. IMO, if we stick with the OTS maps and upgrade components wisely, everything should go smoothly......i hope :P
I've been reading ALOT! But it is hard to gather the right information. I don't care which forum you go on, everyone says something different. So i am glad you commented. If i am way off, please explain more :) Looking to learn here
