I've been looking on forums some ppl say injector seals, i don't think its that.. when i was holding the gas down a bit i did notice some noise with the idling (did sound like misfiring) but when the car was warm it went away.. I'm not sure if it has to be because of the test pipe i recently put in but if someone can explain if they have gone thru this before that would be great

Have you tried google yet? There's tons of info online.

It could be a whole shit load of things:
- boost leaks
- improperly gapped plugs
- coil pack broked
- wires broked
- EGR stuck
etc etc

Oh yea that crazy search engine thing again.

yea I've looked online there are so many different possibilities. i think its the plugs.. just have to figure out how to gap them properly as i do not know how too lol

Pretty easy to gap them but how did you install them without gapping them properly to begin with?

Super easy to gap plugs, just buy a tool from a shop and getter done! :headbang

i didn't know you had to gap them! i thought u had to just r+r.. i have ivt22 in there.. whats it supposed to be gapped at?

Check MSF for what guys are using, Use the Google search bar in their forum. Most handy thing ever :) Other than a fleshlight

from reading the forums. apparently they already come gapped out of the box between .28 and .30... i guess i still gotta check lol

You definitely should always check. Get the proper tool and it's a piece of cake.

If you check them before putting them in, that way you can be sure they are correct and you don't have to do the work twice because plugs take a little longer with the top mount on

...or it could be from running catless on a rich OTS tune in the colder mornings...

fobio i think your right, thats what i was thinking.. i checked the plugs they are all correctly gapped. hopefully once i put the high flow in it wil fix the problem

What down pipe are you running?

What sort of sound was it making before it warmed up? did it sound like marbles under the valve cover?

did you check that the coil packs are not cracked? can be hard to see but i have seen this happen more recently. wipe the top of them off and look for a fine hair line crack.

You can get it at JRP or Garage 16. I have ITV22 and my car is stock :s
