Let us concentrate on the Electrical parts. AC Delco, Bosch, Denso, Exide, Hella, Hitachi, Koito, Moll, Panasonic are just to name a few, are the OEM Tier 1 companies that Design and Manufactured parts for Mazda OE - Original Equipment parts. For example, Koito - Headlights, Panasonic - Battery etc. Once the OEM parts are approved by Mazda Design Engineering, the parts become OE parts. Take a look at Mazda OE brake pads. It has both OE and OEM printed logos and P/Ns on them. The OE parts, not the OEM, are installed in the production cars. Also, OE parts only are sold at the Mazda dealers, not OEM. However, since OEM parts are Mazda approved, so OE <> OEM parts are interchangeable. So, you can replace Mazda OE parts with any OEM parts regardless of who the OEM Co. is. To put it simply, you can replace a Mazda OE battery made by Panasonic with Bosch, Denso, Exide, Hitachi etc.
Canadian Tire, Die Hard, Everstart, Interstate, Kirkland etc. are Aftermarket part Mfrs. None of those companies design and manufactured parts for Mazda. Their parts aren't approved by Mazda. Btw, I have seen a brand spanking new Mazda at the dealer with the OEM Hitachi battery in the engine bay. So, Panasonic is not the only Mazda's OEM Tier1 battery supplier.

Exide is an OEM Tier1 Co. Exide might not be Mazda battery supplier, but it's an OEM Tier1 supplier to other car mfrs. OE<>OEM parts are interchangeable since OEM parts are OE Approved by the car mfrs.
I'd rather have OEM or OE parts in my car than Aftermarket parts.

Having a Lithium car battery is way overkill. It would make more sense to have it in a race car because of the weight reduction.
Correct on both.
TBH if you really going for a change in CG then slight changes in height and weight wont make much of a difference in CG. What are we really talking about is a 1-2 lb /11mm weight/height difference.
If it were 200lbs then you feel that in handling / braking/ cornering. Lowering springs would help drop the CG but ideally you would have to do a 4 corner balancing to get that CG at the center point
of the car and ultimately to that 50/50 front rear.

ok genius, since you want to split hairs: Bosch, AC Delco, etc don't supply batteries to Mazda, so they're not OEM or "OE"... Interstate, Kirkland, etc don't make batteries either, they're just brands made by Johnson Controls... regardless, they're not an "OEM" brand, or what people in the repair industry call: "OES" (original equipment supplier)
if you buy an OES replacement part, then you can say "OEM", but sometimes it's not really the same, as they're slight differences in the specifications, due to contractual restrictions between the OES company and the OEM... so, even though Canadian Mazda dealers sells Mazda branded replacement batteries made by Exide, calling your Exide battery an "OEM" is stretching it, as there's likely grade/spec differences
but by your logic, to say you bought some crappy tire Moto Master part for your car, and calling it "OEM" is absurd... if you bought a Denso, however, it might or might not be true
bottom line is, if you bought a part elsewhere than the dealer, and it's a brand of part made by a company that doesn't supply Mazda (whether at the factory level or dealer level), or is a part made by one of Mazda's suppliers but is not the same (supplier or spec) as the part it replaced/sold by the dealer, it's AFTERMARKET... not OEM or "OE"
do you walk around in sneakers and call them "nike" but they're something else?

ya i was told that winter maybe an issue (got it used on kijiji for $150) ... but
The Shorai LFX CCA rating of this lithium is 1.5x compared to Lead Acid CCA ... due to higher voltage out and less resistance output.
So this little thing at 540 is actually a 800 cca reg battery. The little trick with lithium is to run the headlights for a minute to warm up the battery
before cranking it. As a fallback i always travel with a TacLife carjumper starter... This thing can boost 25 cars .

If you decide to got lighter and lithium
Make sure the lithium does come with a BMS (Battery management system) to
manage the battery but stopping charging when full and stopping battery from getting the threshold min voltage.
Both will damage the cells and reduce charging capacity and longevity and ability to recondition the battery.
These smaller batteries may have the CCA but their capacity may not be able to handle the new smart car parasitic drains
especially if you are not daily driving.
