Good times guys. Next time, I'll try to be more awake.
Thanks for the ribs, Chris. The ones that didn't taste like carbon were my favourite.

Hey I snuck away for 2 mins and there was a flare up on the BBQ. wasn't so bad.
I fell down the stairs twice to make up for a little carbon build up

Third gear getting on the highway at Jameson heading east, let the car get up to about 2900 rpm and floored it. Sounded like the worst backfire ever and that Dave may have just sold his other motor. Pulled right off on the shoulder put the hood up. The coupler split off the top hot pipe just behind the intercooler. Thankfully had tools and it was one the couplers that was easy enough to do.
If anyone needs a hand with RSB installs, let me know......it's super easy.

I've had intercooler pipes pop off on the highway before, NOT fun. First time was top of 3rd and the hot pipe off the turbo popped straight off and hit the inside of the hood. I thought I threw a rod. LOL. I was able to keep driving (off boost) since the pipe was still in place, just not sealed. Second time was while logging on the 407. The cold pipe off the IC going towards the TB popped right off... I couldn't reach it without dropping the engine cover. Had to limp it back home. I discovered if you keep the rpms low and accelerate VERY slowly, you can drive with a massive leak. Probably wasn't very wise looking back...
I hear spraying hair spray on the inside of the silicon helps keep it in place.

Can't believe I didn't think of that! That's what I use on my downhill bike for the fork bump stops and grips for exactly that reason.
Been meaning to check the connections and I guess this means I should do it sooner than later.

I'm interested too. Although, I'm not going for the RSBs yet. Just the stage 2 SSP and bushings.

Great, like my GF needs another reason to panic that my car is going to blow up... lol
Thanks for the tip cj, will ask her for some hairspray prior to install!
