After going out today....it seems the issue has self corrected??? No issues, numbers just over 18....guess I'll just keep monitoring.
Out of curiousity, anyone order direct from JBR?

I have. I've ordered the heavy shift knob and the ssp from him directly. He gave me like 5% off or something like that. I pm'd him through MSF.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
How is everything shipped? USPS, UPS, etc, etc? Duties?
-
Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
I got my JBR heavy shift knob by US Postal (in a heavy cardboard envelope). No duties, was in my mailbox.

Thanks fywdyl and ellusive.

Shipped with USPS, Jamie's very accommodating, so however you want it shipped, he will do it.
I don't remember having to pay duties on it. Maybe I got lucky that time.

really ? I know myself and loki and others talked about a GB, but not sure anyone contacted him.
I think the challenge with a JBR GB would be weight/shipping

Jaime is very good with working with the TM3 guys eventho he's not on here much. I'm sure if Ami contacts him, he'll work out something. I don't really see how shipping heavy items separately makes it cheaper unless you guys are going to go over some sort of parcel limit in one single order.

I see. Didn't know that, I thought somebody posted in here about starting a GB. Oh well, I'll just contact him directly then.
EDIT: Read SFW's and Fobio's posts... Waiting I guess?

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
Sorry guys trying to read back and find something, guess I was wrong as I can't find anything in addition to what Ami posted. Carry on.

i've asked Jamie in the past about a GB or discount on multiple items ordered... his response is that his prices are the lowest he can go. However, he does have specials every now and then on new products.
Understanding that he's a small shop with some solid products, I've continued to buy from JBR.
JBR ships USPS primarily and I've never had to pay duties on shipments from him... PMM, RMM, shift knob, EGR plates, RSB collars. If bundled together in one big shipment, high chance that thing is going to be taxed by Customs (at least the fee for Canada Post is only $5 if that happens).

Someone was making fun of me for doing that - still have it on my '07. They attempted to pull it off and subsequently got an earful from me just in time. I love my baby, clear plastic film included!

I'll make fun of you for doing it
you should wrap your air filter in plastic too, we wouldn't want that to get dirty

Where did this post come from? I don't see ZZB's post in the recent pages of this thread...

he won't register on here as a paying sponsor/vendor just to run a GB...think about those economics for a second...that doesn't mean you guys can't gather names and what not, and give him a firm order with a polite, "can we get a better price, please?"
since I'm now of sponsor status, there will likely be some conflict of interest for me to run a GB, esp one that I don't plan to make $ on, but perception is a bitch sometimes. having said that tho, I will send him a msg and see if it needs to be administered thru MSpeed and our friends.

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
I just sent a msg to JBR...I'll keep everyone posted...
Something else I thought was interesting...
3350lbs/300whp = ~11.17lbs/whp
(3350-65lbs)/300whp = ~10.95lbs/whp...save 65lbs, lose 0.22lbs/whp...$3,000+.
3350lbs/330whp = 10.15lbs/whp...prolly about $1500, maybe less and including a tune.
Keep this between us turbo guys who talk double and triple digit whp gains...ok?...LOL...

Re: Random MS3 Chat Thread
I wonder if I can hit 7.5lbs/whp.
