In the process of going out on my own for insurance as my parents TD is giving me the boot in about 10 days. 20 year old student, 3 tickets (1 speeding, 2 disobey legal sign - ticket defenders got them lowered to those which were originally speeding tickets). No claims, 2011 GT. Basing this out of Timmins, ON which is where I'm originally from, currently going to school in London. Belair is the cheapest I've found at $4500 for the year. It was over double if I told them I was driving it while at school in London.
Currently in the process of switching the ownerships to my name from my Moms. Looks like I hafta get it certified, hopefully they don't mind my tinted tail lights.
I also had to change the address on my drivers licence to show that I no longer live at home therefore I can't drive any of my parents vehicles, uuugh such a hastle!
