Its funny because I had this exact same problem when I picked mine up too, I signalled as shortly as possible to avoid any hassles until I got my amber bulbs but the more I looked around the more I saw vehicles with stock red and even white turn signals?!? But yes, do get the amber ones before the tails come in.
Quick question on the tint paint - Say you screw up and its too dark.... or blotchy or something like that... What are your options? How do you remove it?
3GFX, Your rims look very similar to the 5Zigen Proracer 520's i'm dying for! Love gunmetal on dark cars :-) (errr sorry... black) (repsecting BoD)
lol they're not gun metal or black. They're black chome, little different.
Essentially if you screw up with the tint paint you're screwed. Its paint. I tested it out layer by layer after I painted to see if it was blotchy and still transparent. Its trial and error, light coats following directions.
Other options included buying a new lens or a smoked replacement lens.
Wow, Thanks for that bit of knowledge. Knowing that, I think i'll try some tint stickers from e-bay first.
I wouldn't do that either, it may peel off.
The best investment would be a smoked LED version.

Oh, I have those already, i was talking about the tail lights housing themselves.
I'm going to call around, because i REALLY want the LED lights from the GT, Know any wreckers?

Are the springs on!!?? If they are we need better pics than that! :chuckle
EDIT: Sweet pics though...lol. :)
I took before and after shots....unfortunatly they didn't turn out at all. I'm going to take some nicer pics when I get the rims on again. Can't wait to see if they'll fit, its always been my concern if I would lower.
I'm really happy with the pads. The HPS bite incredibly well, initial impressions are just awesome! The rotors...I'm having some issues I'll comment after I break them in.
The springs are awesome, I love them. The ride is nowhere near as harsh as I thought, but the performance is so much better in terms of lean and dive. I love it.
Is this your first time replacing pads (& rotors)?
How many KM's did you have on your old pads?
Were the pads pretty much gone?
I'm gonna need to replace mine soon.
The right rear pad was far gone....its now at 79,000KM to replace everything. The rotors were still in decent shape as well as the front pads. The rear pads were in the zone of replacement time starting at around 78,000KM.
Ok. Thanks. I'm pretty much on par with yours. I noticed my rear pads were pretty much gone when I switch to all-seasons. I'm at around 84,000km (5spd manual).
Nice Drop Man ... Now its Time to Throw the rims on =)
Sweet Man i bet you love the drop feels really different doesn't it...and where and how much were the eyelids thats one of my future plans
Picked em up off methodyst....I believe they're accolade.
did you install the springs yourself?
btw car looks awsome.
lookin good! what kind of rotors are those?
now to change your driving style with teh drop.....
ive started to change my driving style in preparation for my new drop this year, hahaha
Already taking everything at an angle, keeping more focus on the road in front as well. Gotta say the winters are defintly scrubbin a little, I'm lovin the reduction in lean. Its awesome!
You finally dropped that 4x4 Dave!
Can't wait to see your ride with the summer shoes on.
Hehe, only until the end of the month, then you can find me in Kitchener :p
