Just got inside from doing the 91 tune. Doing the 93 tomorrow after I fill with 93. Also ordered the air intake picking that up on weekend. Exhaust is done already. All that's left is catch can and headers
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco/300 SRT8
Ok. Haven't updated in a while. So here is the low down on the SRT8. Installed upper strut brace. Installed mopar intake. Installed APR front carbon splitter. Installed Monster RX catch can. Installed Kicker L7 sub in box with Phoenix gold amp. Just purchased 4 275 40 20 BFG sport Comp 2 tires for the 4 factory warranty replaced rims I'm getting from Chrysler. And last bit not least. Just dumped $13000 on a supercharger for the birch. Will post those pictures once it arrives and gets installed. @Fobio let me know when the next dyno day is as I'm bringing her to show off the power http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...46fdb07c78.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...5ff56b9af0.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...8dbfc0e265.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...b5e049ca6b.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...32934466f2.jpg

I shouldn't have to explain the cost of adding a SC to a NA motor @loki. But I will. Apprx cost of SC is around 8k. Then for upgrades another. Tune 750 fuel pump $750. Injectors $650. Upgrade for SC to make 900WHP down the road 600 and the almighty GOV HST and BOOM 13k But as any avid car enthusiast would know that if you want to play it cost money.

You could have bought a real car for that same money
But good luck, my avid car enthusiast

See @loki you are such an ass. Why is it you think your crap is always better than anyone else's. Sorry you feel you need to take shots at people or come across as a dick to make yourself feel better. And then when you do that and people lash back private msgs are sent threatening to ban from this site. That's ok Loki. I will enjoy and let me know when you are ready to run on the track against me and put your money where your mouth is. It's all good

There is an ILR Track school day on Oct. 10, 2015
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco/300 SRT8
Perfect. If car is done I will be there. If not I will go to the next one. Cause I believe I mentioned in the post but not sure it's 8 weeks till complete as its 5 to 6 weeks for the supercharger. But I'm not backing down from that challenge.

That wasn't a challenge, I'm saying you should sign up for the track s hool. Then you can come lapping with the rest of us, we've all taken the school.

That works to
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco/300 SRT8
600 wheel would be nutty in that car haha. And reliable. I have a built engine that could make 600 hp. But the reliability between the 2 cars would be completely different. That hemi won't be breaking a sweat to make 6 or 700 horse lol. I wish you luck, and hope I get to go for a rip when she's done !

Thanks. I am looking this year to get the 550 to 600 WHP. But upgraded the SC as the motor can to 900 but I need to go forged pistons and tranny work. That will hopefully be next year. But having said that 900WHP may be to much. The car handles awesome now and the added power will make it even better. But 900 mark may be to much. I like the reliability of the 600 at 6lbs boost and all is good. I will gladly take you out and even let you drive it. I will update with photos. As I said I am hoping to order it today. If not it will be Tomorrow then it's a waiting game :(

why are the splitter rods attached to the bumper skin? they're supposed to be attached to the bumper beam or some point on the car strong enough to withstand the downforce generated.
your bumper is going to get sucked down during highway driving and could, worse case, rip off if you decide to do top speed runs in Mexico.
read more installation info here
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco/300 SRT8
some points from APR's splitter installation notes:
* On a vehicle traveling at higher speeds, a properly-installed Splitter will see anywhere from double-digit to triple-digit downforce numbers. This means there can be a vertical force of up to 100 pounds or more being exerted across span of the Splitter surfaces. Vehicle speeds and these forces must be considered before any splitter installation!
* An improperly-installed Splitter may also see the same forces briefly, until it begins to un-mount, tear itself apart, and pull chunks (if not the entire front bumper) away from the vehicle. Don’t let this happen to you!
* Splitter Support Rods are included with all Splitters. Unless a custom, structurally-reinforced mounting system is professionally-fabricated by a well-qualified race/fabrication shop, the included Splitter Support Rods must be used, and must attach to suitable and secure mounting points (i.e. steel bumper beam, fiberglass structural support, etc.)
you should be able to stand on that splitter with it installed on the car
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco/300 SRT8
This is a good point. I never noticed that before. Although it looks badass, it may cause more havoc than it is worth.

Yes I know that but unfortunately to get to the rebar for the initial install was to challenging. There is actually a plate I made on the other side that has reinforced it so there shouldn't be an issue. I am looking for longer bolts but have to go to the marine shop near my house over the next week to see if the have. At that point I can attach to the bumper rebar.
