Points don't have anything to do with insurance.

Expired sticker does not show up on a motor vehicle report. (the report brokers use to check your convictions)

overall i pay $245 for the e30, passat and mazda. Back in Brampton it was just over $400 for my 3 cars. according to the locals, we (michigan) is on the higher end of the insurance rates across the states, which is already stupid cheap

for sure. When i was in Kingston for school, i kept it as that address even when i went back to Ajax for the summers.

Oh and don't forget Ontario just introduced the snow tire discount as of this month.

I contacted my agent and he applied a 5% discount to my policy.

Mine was applied as well.

33, married, moved out of TO (Ajax), driving less and 0 tickets = $90/mth. No complaints here.

After 6 years with TD Meloche Monnex, jumped ship and transferred to The Personal.

Premium is reduced from $221.25 to $163.62 ($133.92 and $29.70) per month, and that is including home insurance as well. This has full coverage for a 2008 Mazdaspeed3, with a $300/$300 deductible for 31 Y/O male in downtown TO. Not too shabby. :thumbsup

when i was insured in canada i was with the Personal. They gave a really big discount to Engineers who were members of OSPE. I saved over $100/month which was more than worth the $130/year membership. Any engineers here may want to look into that and you may save.

Yeah, that's what I did when I got the car. Went with them with an alumni discount. Too bad they couldn't match The Personal's quote.

$2510 at renewal or ~$209/month

So car insurance is up for renewal. Similar to last year, my renewal says that my annual bill would go up by $200. No accidents, same address. Called them and the reasons are based on 3 items in my territory: accident benefits (went down so good), collision and death claims (both went up). Drive carefully Scarborough people! But jokes aside, I was expecting it to go down with a clean record. I'll call other brokers and see if I can get a better deal

I did Automerit with Belair back in 2014 with my previous car. Saved 10%, which continues to this day with my Mazda.

my parents have some of their cars with Belair and they find the program pretty good, been with them with years.

I find all the quotes all over the place. My experience was that no one was able to compete with my PEO rate from TD

in contrast my car with TD is around $120 a month or less for full coverage, living downtown Toronto

Replying to @Wanderlust too...Yea with the automerit, my quote goes down by $30+/month. Big savings and easily beats my TD renewal amount. My only concern is them using my collected data against me in the FUTURE. I said future because I read that all data collected now won't be legally used against you and only records times of acceleration and hard braking. What are your opinions on that?
