Has anyone come across a Mazda3 with wide steelies?
I think Diamond Racing Wheels inc is the company that is popular with making them.
I've seen them on VWs.
speed3 is good, mustache is bad.
Maybe more tire would also be good.
Diamonds are heavy.

I'm sure you can find a shop around here who would be willing to widen an existing set of steelies. It's really very simple for any normal welding shop... just a matter of finding one willing to take a job that small and not charge an arm and a leg.
Really all you need is a lathe to cut the wheel lip off, and a competent fabricator to put the steel band on. I've even seen a thread or two around the interwebz where someone DIY'd it in their garage with an angle grinder instead of a lathe

Well, when my ride starts to rust out and look a little dated I may go for a set. Also I'm not that low to pull that off as GWN mentioned.
I found one online. Looks good to me. And its not that low.
