Mazda 3 insurance cost per month ????
Hi guys,
I\'m inching closer to getting a Mazda 3 GS for me and the girlfriend. I was holding out a little bit to wait for the Honda Civic to come out and comparing the two. As much as I like Civic\'s interior, there\'s just something about the Mazda 3 that I cant stop looking at it. :). Plus, my girlfriend gave it a nod, whatever the lady says goes, you know.
I\'ve got 2 questions:
1./ Can you guys state how much you pay for insurance each month/ type of policy/ your age (if possible) and with which company.
2./ From reading the posts, I see Jeff (The Biz) at Avante Mazda got an impressive reputation. I\'d like to get his contact info, can you guys help???

I\'m sure you know where Jeff works by now after reading some posts.
not sure if anybody will feel comfortable saying how much they pay per month but I\'m paying $150 per month with State Farm Insurance at Yonge and Lawrence (right on yonge street). I\'m turning 27 this year and I\'ve been driving since I was 16. Also, I raised my deductible to $1000. I hope it doesn\'t come back to bite me in the ass. knock on wood. and I\'m also just a weekend driver.
my parents use state farm also but they\'re in niagara falls.. so they must be giving my parents a good deal.. :D:p

Car: 2004 Mazda3 Sport GT
Me: 23 Year old male living in Pickering w/ 2 speeding tickets
Insurance: $500/$500 deductables, obviously FULL insurance, and not just liablity.
Cost: $156/month and an additional $35/Month for my snowmobile.

liability - when you hit/injure/damage something/one (known as one way)
comprehensive - when others do damage to your car/body such as fire/theft/plowing into you..
ugh i\'m not insurance expert and you can get more accurate info from wikipedia.. they know better ;)

5 tickets, no at fault accidents. *knock wood*
$305 per month..
(4 of the 5 fall off on June 2006... Sweet. :p)

i\'m 23, live in brampton, have a 2004 Mazda 3 GT sedan, drive 30, 000 a year, $1000 deductable, full coverage, $210 a month. I have a clean record (knock on wood). Do you think that sounds like to much? I think it\'s ok.

I\'m 29, the wife is 28, live in North York, full insurance for two Mazda3\'s, both 6 star rating, we pay a total of $250 per month (both cars :) )
We used to be with The Personal but spoke to Meloche Monnex and ended up saving nearly $1000 per year!

WOW... I have one of the lower rates, even against the 25+ crowd. That surprises me. I am with State Farm, and no one can touch the rates I have. I have called everyone.
Best we Monnex Meloche. They get back to me with a \"Excellent Rate\" of $3600/yr with my college Alumni discount....I laughed and told him what I paid now. \"Wow sir, you have a very good rate, and we cant even come close to that. Would you ind if I asked you whom you are with?\"

just under a grand for the year... $80 and change a month. 2004 Sp. GT /Full coverage/ 35, male, no tiks, Newmarket. (P C insurance...cheap..)

To be fair everyone should post up the model year, trim, and their location. I know for a fact that our 2006 MZ3 is slightly higher than our 2005. Also, if you have a fully loaded GT ($27K) vs. a base GS ($19K) your payments will be different. Lastly, I have friends who live in Waterloo but his parents live here in T.O., and when calling around for rates, his insurance was at least 33% cheaper if listed in Waterloo!

Thank you for your responses ... I\'m with TD Canada Trust Insurance right now with my current car. I was wondering if they\'re the same as Meloche Monnex? If not, is it possible to switch? I guess I\'m gonna give them a call on Monday to find out. And Jeff, thank you for your email reply, I will contact you as soon as get more info on the car insurance.

Hi Guys,
25 yrs old, 3 star, meloche monnex, downtown T.O., $240/month.
I asked for a quote with an address in Missisauga and got 1/3 less.;) I\'m so gonna move to Missisauga next year when my current apt lease is up. Anyone knows if meloche policies are fixed for the year or 6 months, i.e., can I switch insurance companies after 6 months and not pay a penalty for it?

this is down like a grand from my before 25 rate (my last adjustment was december, my bday is in july)
but i have got three tickets this year!
i have pleaded them all down to no points!
u think i am gonna see a big spike???

Cost per month = $338.74 with TD Meloche Mennox and I told them I only drive sometimes, take the bus to work :(
My renewal period doesn\'t come until May :(

ouch.. you still pleaded guilty and MOST insurance companies will let ONE offence slide.. but 3 (they are minors) will probably bend you over.. oy vey..

Why is it so high.....do you have any tickets and/or at-fault accidents? That seems really high for a 3.

Thanks civiclad, just further confirmed my desire to move to Missisauga or Oakville. Downtown parking + insurance rate just way too high! I bet you, you\'re gonna pay 1000 more a year if you have a downtown T.O. address.

There\'s no doubt.....when my wife and I were considering moving from North York to Richmond Hill I called and inquired and they told us our rates would go down! Still though, nothing beats living close to the city IMO.

pleading them down still leaves them on your record.
state farm was going to drop my insurance for having 3 speeding tickets. i had to beg and plead for them not to. good luck then trying to get insurance. they decided to keep me, then i dropped them lol

well I suppose I have one of the higher rates thanks to my lovely driving record(3 speeding tickets, two outrageous, eventually got my license suspended due to demerit pts, and one accident)...This is the first car I\'ve owned as well...

Early 30\'s, 10+yrs G license, 1 minor ticket, GT+GFX Mazda3. I live Downtown, and I got that rate. Woohoo. $500 Deductible too.
Don\'t have to move out in the burbs. :D
Strange thing, the finance manager wouldn\'t let me get $1000 deductible on the car, since I can get a lower rate of $1878 on it. Wonder why?

Are you using an alumni discount? If not, you should inquire, cause you get one hell of a deal from MM (that\'s how we\'re insuring two MZ3\'s and our condo for about $250/mth).
