ST3ALTH's Car

So i have been slowly piecing together my 2007 Mazda 3 GT. What ive done so far:

Mods this year:
-Mazdaspeed 3 rims
-Painted calipers
-Magnum cross drilled rotors
-Mazdaspeed 3 rear valence
-PRM Short Ram Intake
-Vibrant Strut bar
-Blacked out front emblems (Soon to be all of them)
-Stubby antenna

Over the winter(being put on in the spring)
-TWM short shifter (ordered)
-Eibach lowering springs
-Vinyl stripes
-Install Mazdaspeed 3 exhaust (Sitting in the garage)
-Engine cover custom paint
-Install Smoked reflectors (to get rid of those ugly red ones.)

No im going to black out the mazda logo and the mazda emblem. I really dont want the mazda there but it will just leave holes. And i know i cant wait to through that exhaust on!!!

Now I know what speed wheels would look exactly on my car (I've seen pics on a black hatch but not recently). Damn...nice lookin ride.

Damn you st3alth...now I am in a real debate. I almost got the RX8s and now I'm hesitating. Considering I got a black mica hatch as well...it's like staring at what my car could look like.

Ya there not a chance! cant wait to put it on, lol. I personally like the speed 3 rims better than the RX8's but i am thinking about getting a set of the RX8's and powder coating them black. I think that would make the car stand out much more! I would use those for shows and run the speed 3 ones during the summer.

^ Nope. You will have to get the whole bumper and bumper inserts. At least a couple of members have it on their 04-06 hatch. One is Xenon and the other is Broli. But I think Broli sold his or traded it in.

I find it stiffer when i take a corner going fast. It feels a lot tighter. I love the bar, it looks great and feels great. I got it of a TM3 member for under $80, cant go wrong!

First off nice car. Loving the rims.

2nd, u guys should consider changing the sway bars. Even just changing the rear ones would give you more noticeable difference than a strut bar. For me, i had a strut bar but didnt feel much difference. After putting in the sways, oh man, i only want to accelerate around turns lol

Yea i was thinking about doing that as well, just not sure what make i should get... I was thinking getting the mazdapseed 3 sways. Any suggestions?

I personally have racing beat. Its a thick bar but theres thicker which is the hotchkis and thats 32mm. The racing beat is solid and i find that kinda heavy. It all depends on what u like actually. I'd go with thicker ones but then i also heard that too thick isn't good (i could be wrong). Just search it up in the forums and u'll find tons of info

ST3ALTH, How do you like the PRM CAI? I'm thinking of getting it. The battery cooling duct won't fit with the intake?

I love the intake, it sounds great and there is noticeable power improvement. The battery duct fits no problem, but i had it off because i didnt like the fact that it covers up the intake, im putting it back on in the spring, i got a lot of custom engine bay paint done so it should look good.

:chuckleST3ALTH, PRM it is then. How much and who did you get it for, if you don't mind me asking. I herd it's a water safe design?

Pretty much any SRI will be "water safe", unless your whole car is submerged under water.

I believe you need to order directly from PRM, as I don't recall anyone actually carrying them. It is a Canadian company, so you shouldn't have any problems with that.

So i sold my front lip and side sill extensions...didnt really like the look. I will be getting the new hatch front lip from peter in a couple of weeks.
I will be installing my Mazdaspeed 3 spoiler and mazdaspeed 3 spoiler extension on tuesday. Ill take a bunch of pics to update this old thread!

Hey were you able to get around to installing your spoiler+extension? I'm considering getting the extension now lol. Need some pics to convince me :P

Yea i got the spoiler installed and i also installed a CP-e towplate. I will take pics of the spoiler and i will put the spoiler lip on to show you what it looks like. I am vinyl wrapping the spoiler lip so its not ready yet.

Sweet can't wait! What did you end up doing with the two holes?

I just covered them with Vinyl for now, i am in the process of painting some small super flush plugs lol. I have to paint some for the spoiler and the front bumper because i took off the license plate holder. It should come out looking pretty good. The vinyl is fine also, you can not even notice its there.
